Military Overview: Three Days Of Russian Offensive In Kursk Region

The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are rapidly repelling the Ukrainian military from its bridgehead in the Russian border Kursk region. On March 8th, Russian forces launched large-scaled offensive operations, leaving the enemy no chance to resist.

After almost three days of fighting, Russian forces took back control of about two dozens of villages around the main Ukrainian stronghold of Sudzha. The first stage of offensive was marked by a risky operation with the call-sign ”Pipe” or “Flow”, which was aimed at breaking into the Ukrainian rear through the gas pipeline. Thus, European sanctions and suspension of gas supplies through the Ukrainian territory allowed the Russian military to launch one of the decisive operations of the war.

After several weeks of the completely secret training and preparations, hundreds of fighters from the Russian Akhmat Special Forces, the 30th Motorized Rifle Regiment, the 11th Airborne Brigade, as well as the Veterans and Vostok brigades went underground for four days and passed about 15 kilometers along the pipe with the height of only 1.4 meters. Having recieved the order to attack, they came to the surface, caught the enemy by surprise and captured the industrial zone in Sudzha. Thanks to this dangerous operation, Russian troops were able to mop up the outskirts of Sudzha and launch assault on the town, cutting off the Ukrainian group from supplies. The exhausted Ukrainian military did not expect such a maneuver, despite the fact that the pipelines had already brought victories to the Russian army in Avdiivka and Pivnichne. LINK, LINK

On March 10th, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation officially confirmed the full Russian control of the towns of Kositsa, Malaya Loknya and Cherkasskoe Porechnoe, located north and northeast of Sudzha.

In fact, Russian forces are already completing the mop up operations in wide areas north and east of Sudzha, took control of the villages of Yuzhny, Zozulevka, Ivshkovsky, Pravda, Martynovka anf Mihailovka. The Russian Ministry of Defense does not officially declare the victory before the completion of the mop up operations and until the areas nearby are secured, but the scale of Russian offensive leaves the scattered Ukrainian groups to resist.

According to the latest reports from the battlefield, the Russian troops are rapidly expanding their zone of control on the outskirts around Sudzha, preparing to the main stage of the assault. Ukrainian stronghold in Kazachya Loknya was partially surrounded. Battles were already reported in the 1st and 2nd Knyazhy villages, in Zaolodshenka. Thus, Ukrainian in Kazachya Loknya were cut off from the Ukrainian grouping in Sudzha.

On the eastern outskirts, battles are ongoing in Mirny. Russian forces took control of Agronom, Bondarevka and Kolmakov.

On the southern outskirts, Ukrainian forces are trying to resist in Dmitrykov and Mahnovka, but at the same time, Russian advance was already reported on the southwestern outskirts, where they are reportedly approaching Goncharovka from the south.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine are urgently trying to withdraw the remaining combat ready units from the cauldron, but they are suffering heavy losses under Russian fire. The Russian troops are expanding their zone of control near Basovka and Zhuravka in the Ukrainian Sumy region, increasing pressure on the last roads used by Ukrainian forces in Sudzha.

Most of Ukrainian soldiers were abandoned by their command. They mainly include poorly trained fighters of the Territorial Defense and men, who were forcibly captured on Ukrainian streets and thrown into battles as cannon fodder without any descent training. As a result, their entire units are surrendering.

In an attempt to save the remaining forces from encirclement, the Ukrainian military command is sending reinforcement to the border areas along the road between Yunakovka and Sudzha. Ukrainian attempts to counterattack were also reported near Guevo, but they were successfully repelled. The Ukrainian military is currently in control of only about 15 border settlements, but after their upcoming defeat in Sudzha, the Armed Forces of Ukraine will completely lose its entire foothold on the Russian territory.

Russian offensive in the Kursk region is likely to play a decisive role in the ongoing negotiations. Moscow has repeatedly claimed that it would not allow any territorial concessions to the Kiev regime, and promised to destroy the Ukrainian garrison in Kursk.

New trophy M1A1 Abrams tank:

The entire bloody adventure of Ukrainians on the Russian soil was aimed at gaining more political benefits at the negotiation table, and bring some media victories to the Kiev regime. As a result, another disaster is coming to its end with horrific losses of the Ukrainian army and no political results. The so-called Ukrainian counteroffensive in 2023 was the first major defeat which confirmed that Ukraine has no military muscles to play, despite all the military aid from the West. Detached from reality, warmongers in Kiev and their foreign patrons launched their attack in the Kursk region. As a result, strategic reserves of the Ukrainian army were ground down; Ukrainian defense is bursting at the seams in the Donbass; at least 66,000 servicemen of the Ukrainian army were killed and wounded, according to the official statistics of the Russian Ministry of Defense, not to mention losses in military equipment, mainly supplied by NATO; and finally Kiev is left no trump card, humiliated at the negotiation table.

the ukronazies literally took a gaspipe up their arse. one has to be beyond stupid not to have cut or collapsed the pipeline at more than one point. reminds me of a ukrainian girlfriend i once had; she was all looks and no brains.

ukronazis are famous for being good cannon fodder. meanwhile the buffoon brigade from kiev are still employed, and alive, go figure.
