The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continue developing their offensive in different directions in the Donbass and repel Ukrainian forces from the Kursk region.
The Kurakhovo direction remains one of the most dangerous for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, where they are threatened with another large cauldron. On December 28th, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation officially confirmed control of the village of Stary Terny located on the northwestern shore of the water reservoir and the village of Trudovoe located southeast of Uspenovka.
Meanwhile, the Russian army is rapidly developing its success both on the northern and southern flanks in this direction and destroyed Ukrainian forces in Kurakhovo. According to preliminary reports from the battlefield, Russian forces took control of the villages of Konstantinopolskoe and Uspenovka that were turned into important Ukrainian strongholds along the Sukhie Yaly River. The mop up operations are ongoing on the streets and Russian forces are securing their control of the areas nearby to prevent the Ukrainian military from any chance to counterattack.
Ukrainian military observers complain that Russian forces managed to launch a breakthrough and enter the village of Zelenovka located only 2 kilometers south of the vitaly important road west of Kurakhovo.
Russian troops are also expanding their zone of control on the northern flank, where they are repelling the remaining Ukrainian forces from the areas between Solntsevka and Stary Terny and continue advance west of these villages.
Another Russian victory was reported on the southern Zaporozhie front. The village of Makarovka that was previously surrounded south of Velyka Novoselka reportedly came under Russian control. The remnants of Ukrainian units abandoned their positions and escaped from the cauldron leaving their dead and wounded. Russian assault groups are already launching attacks in Storozhevoe to gain a foothold in the village. At the same time, Russian forces are reinforcing their positions in the village of Novy Komar located north of Velyka Novoselka and expand their zone of control around it.
The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are advancing on a wide front in the Pokrovsk direction, expanding their bridgehead south of the city. Battles are ongoing near the villages of Shevchenko and Dachenskoe. Russian forces advanced from the recently captured Novotroitskoe toward the villages of Solene and Novovasilievka to the west. The Russian troops launch attacks in different directions bypassing Ukrainian defense south of Pokrovsk. They take control of one village after another, straightening the front leaving the retreating enemy no chance to counterattack.
Ukrainian military positions:
After they took control of the mine dumps on the southwestern outskirts of Toretsk, Russian forces largely expanded their zone of control in the city center. The local Avangard stadium came under Russian control. Clashes are ongoing along Svitla street and in the area of the local central market. Russian forces are approaching the large Ukrainian stronghold reinforced in the facilities of the Toretskaya mine on the northern outskirts of the city. Ukrainian hideout is already pounded by Russian bombs and shelled by Russian artillery.
Abrams tanks abandoned in the Kursk region:
Ukrainian positions are worsening in the Russian Kursk region. After their recent breakthrough on the northern flank LINK, Russian forces continue attacks in and near Kruglenkoe as well as near Russkoe Porechnoe, threatening the large Ukrainian grouping in the area of Malaya Loknya with encirclement. On the southern flank, Russian forces are expanding their zone of control northwest of the recently liberated village of Plekhovo.
According to various signals from Ukrainian frontlines, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are preparing for another attempt to launch a counteroffensive. Reinforced by a large number of NATO vehicles, they are accumulating forces, including in the northeastern border regions. Losing control of more and more areas in the Kursk region, the Kiev regime may launch new attacks across the border in order to enter into negotiations on more advantageous positions.
still fighting in the kursk region.. unbelievable..!
yep, russia are weak and struggling. 5 months in kursk now and so many kursk residents dead and displaced. they will eventually come home to destruction all because some stupid generals did not do their jobs properly. notice how silent the responsible leadership are now. the reality is it is getting worse for the russ in ukr, the west, nato and g7 and ukr leadership will never stop. the brits, us, latvia, poland, lithuania and of course ukr leaderships loathe and hate russia
.
you just described the coalition of scum. if russia is weak and struggling, why can’t the ukrainian puppet forces stop them in donbas, or retake any territory?
russians fight illogically for oligarch concerns instead of military concerns.
blow up the damn bridges and stop allowing russia and russian citizens from being attacked.
usa is orc-hunting in moscow…poohtin better be careful…heheheh
the nato generals tasked with weapons procurement must be chosen by their level of corruption rather than merit.
