Militants Retreat at Multiple Frontlines as Government Forces Advance in Aleppo City

Jaish al-Fatah militants are retreating at multiple frontlines under the pressure by pro-government forces inside the Syrian city of Aleppo.

Today, the Syrian army and its allies have captured Tareq al-Bab neighborhood and liberated about 90% of al-Myassar Jazmati. Syrian government forces have also launched attacks in Sheikh Lutfi, Seihk Saeed and Karam al-Myassar, and captured a number of points in these areas. Pro-militant sources confirm that the “opposition” has suffered casualties and has been pushed to retreat from “some areas”.

Heavy clahes are ongoing.

hope the saa and co., can manage the final push

Surely it will not be easy, but it looks like they will do it. Brave people

Seihk Saeed was overrun and then abandoned, probably because the Syrians want all the militants to go there and make their last stand there. If you want the enemy to make a last stand, you make them do it in a stupid place, preferably one that you were already able to overrun within a few hours.

Godspeed saa!

It is an ever shrinking perimeter. Apparently, there will be a final outcome in Aleppo. This reminds me of the finality of the Tamil Tigers defeat in Sri Lanka. Those jihadis and their buddies are trapped in a pocket and it’s going to be nasty.
