Militant Footage Shows Heavy Clashes at Castello Road near Aleppo City

The Harakat Nour al-Din al-Zenki militant group released a footage that shows the clashes for the Castello Road that had been cut off by the Syrian Army earlier this week. The Castello Road was the only supply line to the militant-controlled areas of Aleppo city.

The Harakat Nour al-Din al-Zenki militant group is the so-called “CIA vetted” group that receives TOW missiles and other equipment from the US. However, this does not prevent it from cooperation with Al Qaeda in Syria.

So long as the YPG and SAA can keep the rebels cut off I think they’ve secured victory in Aleppo. I just hope the civilians manage to flee to SAA/YPG controlled territory or the SAA/YPG liberates them before the rebel’s futile struggle starves them to death. I feel like the tides are turning and the SAA & YPG will win this war, but it’s going to be slow and painful.

Why do they wear green arm bands?
