The Syrian Arab Army (SAA), the National Defense Forces (NDF) and other pro-government factions have continued their military operation against ISIS cells in the eastern part of the province of al-Suwayda.

Since the start of the operation in the area on June 2, government forces have re-established control of M’ar’ar Hill, the village of Ashrfya and the area of Beir Aura.

According to pro-government sources, the SAA, the NDF and others are now developing their advance on ISIS positions from the northwestern, southwestern and southeastern directions. Clashes are ongoing near the villages of Khirbat Umbashi, Kihrbat Jarbu and Hibbariyah.

The operation in eastern al-Suwayda shows that despite the formal defeat of ISIS in central Syria, the terrorist group’s cells are still active in even formally “liberated” areas within the government-held area. The most notable threat is posed by ISIS terrorists operation in the Homs-Deir Ezzor desert and in the Euphrates Valley, on the eastern bank of the river.

These cells have recently increased their activity and have carried out large attacks on positions of the SAA and the NDF in the provinces of Homs and Deir Ezzor.

Fierce clashes took place at the government-held city of al-Bukamal, near the Syrian-Iraqi border, on June 3, June 8 and June 9. It should be noted that, according to sources in the SAA, ISIS conducted its attacks from the eastern bank of the Euphrates, which is the zone of responsibility of the US-led coalition.

Let US NEVER FORGET.

The United States and isisrael are the fathers of isis. They have and ate todate still training, arming, funding, protecting, supporting and provinding ALL the necessary assistance to isis!!!

It’s time to make them pay by wiping out their proxy armies and driving them into the ground where they belong.

And grind the bones of ISIS to dust ,so that the US Coalition of Terror can never ‘ re-brand ‘ them :) EVER.

So, the US are the ‘fathers of Daesh’ and are training, arming, funding, protecting, supporting and providing all necessary assistance, yet Daesh have attacked the US on numerous occasions over the past few years?

One thing should be made clear is that just because a given group operates under the name ISIS does not mean it takes orders or coordinates with a single commander. Indonesia has arrested many ISIS terror cells, there are some towns in Niger apart of the Boko Haram confederation that claim ISIS affiliation, and a significant Taliban breakaway group claims ISIS affiliation. Most of these groups would have trouble getting in contact with each other much less assisting/coordinating. ISIS has morphed into not a place but an idea, one that is equated with the most radical and militant interpretation of Islam possible.
