Syrian government forces have repelled an infiltration attempt by Jaish Al-Izza militants in the area nortwest of Masasnah. A group of militants attempted to attack army positions from the direction of Wadi Dawrat, but it was forced to retreat taking casualties.
Meanwhile, army artillery units shelled Jaish al-Izza positions near the towns of Lataminah, Hasraya, Al-Arba’een and Kafr Zita.
