Map Update: Saudi-backed Forces Recaptured Qatabah Town In Yemen’s Dhale Province

On May 17, forces loyal to the Saudi-led coalition recaptured the town of Qatabah in the Yemeni province of Dhale from Ansar Allah (also known as the Houthis) and its allies. According to reports, UAE-trained factions played an important role in this success of the coalition.

Following this, coalition-backed forces continued  their advancec in the directions of Abari and Mazub Amer and the Al Olalah military camp. Clashes are ongoing.

This is better than it looks. The saudi coalition is forced to attack and the Houthi are experts in ambushes and taking out units out in the open.
