The defense of Saudi-backed forces continued collapsing in the provinces of al-Jawf and Marib in northern and central Yemen. After the massive losses near al-Hazm, the provincial capital of al-Jawf, Saudi-backed forces failed to repel the attack by Ansar Allah (the Houthis) east of Sirwah in the province of Marib.
According to pro-Yemenu sources, Ansar Allah forces forced Saudi proxies to retreat from the Kufil base located on the road to Marib city. However, the base remains a no-man land because of intense Saudi airstrikes in the area. Soon, Yemeni forces will take control of it and continue their advance towards Marib city. If the city is captured by them, the Saudi-led coalition will lose another key strong point in central Yemen.
The scale of setbacks and losses of Saudi proxies is so high that Saudi warplanes are even forced to bomb military equipment and weapon depots abandoned by them.
