The Libyan National Army (LNA) is developing its advance on the city of Tripoli, which is in the hands of the Government of National Accord (GNA). Despite the deployed reinforcements, the LNA has not been able to make significant progress in the area so far.
The most intense fighting is currently ongoing in the area of Tripoli International Airport, where GNA forces have launched several counter-attacks. If the LNA is albe to deliver blow to GNA forces in this area and shorten frontline southwest of Tripoli, it could be able to overcome the GNA resistance.
