On Mar.9, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) advanced inthe East Ghouta of Greater Damascus targeting Al Nusra militants and its allies in the area. Following a violate battle with militants, the SAA seized the villages of Bala Al-Jadeeda and Hatita Al-Jarsh. Thus, the SAA split militant forces in the area in 2 different pockets.
Now, the SAA and its allies are in position to defeat militants in detail.
