People’s militia of LPR (Lugansk People’s Republic) has informed that the last stage of weaponry and equipment of caliber under 100mm withdrawal has been completed.
As it was proclaimed in the Minsk agreements, since last September, both parts involved in the East Ukraine conflict agreed a complete ceasefire in the contact line region.
Part of the peace deal agreed in Minsk is the withdrawal of weaponry both of Ukrainian army and the militias of Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republic. The process is being supervised by the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission and the Joint Coordination Center for Ceasefire Monitoring.
The spokesman of LPR militia, Igor Yaschenko, said on Saturday that they have respected the ceasefire regime but still the Ukrainian media continue their accusations over the pro-Russian militants of rupturing the Minsk agreements in an attempt of pulling attention of Ukrainians from domestic political and social problems.
The ceasefire was the main condition for a new withdrawal of weapons in accordance with the agreements accepted by the self-proclaimed People’s Republics of Donetsk and Lugansk and Kiev as well. However there are reports of attacks of the Ukrainian army over villages of the East of the country were separatists are.
It’s important to mention that the so-called Normandy Four Foreign Affairs ministers will pass an agreement regarding a demining process in the region.
