Carrier strike group (CSG) is an operational formation of the United States Navy. It is centered on an aircraft carrier and a carrier air wing of 65 to 70 aircrafts. It’s composed of roughly 7,500 personnel, an aircraft carrier, at least one cruiser, a destroyer squadron of at least two destroyers and/or frigates. A carrier strike group also, on occasion, includes submarines, attached logistics ships and a supply ship. Carrier strike groups comprise a principal element of U.S. power projection over the world’s oceans

the narrative

it will matter not to anyone in 100 years. they will not exit

the narrative

the united states navy is outdated, useless and outmatched in every single aspect of modern warfare. simply put, a complete waste of american money in the current world. china is the worlds current top naval power. nothing the usa does could challenge this. the industrial infrastructure necessary to compete were completely shuddered by investment bankers decades ago

the narrative

it would take over 50 years of planned investment by the usa to complete. without any guarantee of success. it would become a planned failure at taxpayer expense.
