Last night the Libyan National Army shot down a Bayraktar-TB2 combat drone over the village of Alwashka west of the city of Sirte in northern Libya. Bayraktar-TB2 drones are supplied by Turkey and operated by Turkish specialists in order to provide forces of the Tripoli-based Government of National Accord with air support in their battle against the Libyan National Army.

Over the past year, Turkey has lost dozens of various unmanned aerial vehicles, including multiple Bayraktar-TB2s in Libya. Just recently, on March 31, a similar drone was downed near Tripoli.

Can anyone elaborate on the cost of the drones?
