Lawyer: Afghan Murderer Attacked Policemen with Claw Hammer Because Left-Hand Drive Britain Is Too Stressful

An Afghan migrant attacked two British police officers with a claw hammer. According to his lawyer the “offence was committed at a time of stress” for the migrant, as he “was in a foreign country” and was “very confused by the vehicles driving on a different side of the road.”

Jamshid Piruz, a 34-year-old Afghan migrant, who was convicted of beheading a woman in the Netherlands, moved unchecked to the UK, where he attacked two police officers, using a claw hammer. According to a lawyer of the attacker, the “offence was committed at a time of stress” for Piruz, as he “was in a foreign country” and was “very confused by the vehicles driving on a different side of the road.”

Earlier, Piruz was sentenced to 12 years in jail for the killing a female tenant in the Netherlands, committed by him in 2006. His insanity plea was rejected by the judge, who said that Piruz was “inspired by Taliban movies” and acted “intentionally and with premeditation”.

When the unemployed migrant entered the UK, no alarm was raised, as he was a permanent resident of the Netherlands and could move freely within the territory of the EU, using its open borders. In addition, according to the EU rules, other member states have no compulsion to inform the UK about dangerous and convicts persons, who could enter the state, and some countries do not even keep such records.

Upon arrival in the UK, Piruz assaulted a member of staff at Gatwick Airport. A few days later, he returned on the streets, as was freed by local magistrates. Then, on January 7, 2016, two police officers were attacked by the migrant, who used a claw hammer. As a result, one of them was hospitalized with head injuries.

As Tory MP Henry Smith, who represents Crawley, told the Daily Mail newspaper, “the country has got to have tougher border controls. Clearly, being a member of the EU did not protect us on this occasion.”

“A very dangerous individual was allowed to travel here without us having prior knowledge that he’d committed murder in the Netherlands.

It is staggering that someone could assault staff at Gatwick and then a couple of days later attack two police officers. Why was the information that he was a violent offender not available to us from our EU partners?

This is an appalling example of the kind of people who are getting into the country undetected,” Smith concluded.

The migrant criminal will be sentenced on Friday.

Or maybe if EU countries actually shared intelligence and had their police forces cooperate with each other this attack could have been prevented as well. There was no Schengen Zone in the 70’s and 80’s and criminals and terrorists still crossed borders with ease because nobody in international law enforcement was talking to each other. Southern Spain was full of British criminals hiding there in safety from British justice. IRA sleeper cells a plenty on the Continent as well, French and German terrorists also hid very easily across Europe. Unless you know who and what to look for all imposing border controls does is annoy innocent travelers. Just like the useless checks at airports do.

But why go for the root cause of problems when you can score cheap political points with symbolic gestures? I miss the days of Margeret Thatcher or Helmuth Kohl. Agree or disagree with them, they at least had a vision and stuck with it. Unlike todays crop who have no vision other then make it as a soundbyte on the news.

The UK government as well as the authorities in Brussels will be happy and grateful to this criminal. He is just doing what he is supposed to do -terrorize.

So this Afghani BEHEADED a woman in Netherlands in 2006 and got 12 years – but was out in 10.
EU is soft as butter.

Just what does a person have to do to get a long or permanent prison stay in the EU these days?

Paulo Romero

Tie him up to a fence post and behead him. It’s what he understands , civilisation is too stressful for him. He wants to enjoy peace , freedom and all the trappings of a good life but still be a psycho. In Afghanistan , he would have been executed way back in 2006.
