A group of migrants left the territory of Belarus and went inside Poland, the border reinforcement along the road in the Grodno region was removed.

“The reinforcements along the road were removed, the servicemen report. The migrants are leaving the territory of Belarus,” Sputnik Belarus reported.

As the outlet reported, “the border guards told Sputnik that the entire large group of migrants left for Poland, left the territory of Belarus, the cordon was removed.”

The migrants who were in the forest said they were heading to Germany.

“The migrants agreed in advance to gather in large quantities at the border today, a source familiar with the situation told Sputnik. They have groups and chats in messengers – 4-5 thousand people each, where they are coordinated.”

Earlier, the State Border Committee of Belarus reported that a large group of refugees was moving towards the border of Belarus with Poland. The video of a crowd of migrants from social networks claims that the refugees are walking to the checkpoint on the Belarusian-Polish border “Bruzgi” in the Grodno region.

The Polish Foreign Ministry called the column of migrants that reached the border the largest attempt of mass force penetration into Poland so far, and said that the Polish security forces are ready to meet it.

Earlier, two Polish soldiers were injured when illegal migrants tried to storm the border from Belarus, the Polish Border Guard said.

“Over the weekend, there were two attempts to forcefully cross the border. Aggressive groups of about 60 and 70 people threw stones and branches at the Border Guard officers and soldiers of the Polish Army. Two soldiers ended up in a hospital. Both attempts to forcefully enter Poland were thwarted,” the press release on October 25th said.

According to the border guards, over 24 hours on October 25th they recorded 508 attempts to illegally cross the Belarusian-Polish border and detained 19 illegal immigrants from Syria, Iraq and Palestine.

Recently, Lithuania, Latvia and Poland have announced that more and more migrants are being detained at the border with Belarus, and they accuse Minsk of creating a migration crisis. The Polish authorities introduced a state of emergency on the border territories and involved the army and the police in guarding the border. Belarus, in turn, claims that neighboring countries are forcibly expelling illegal immigrants, many with bodily harm.

According to President Alexander Lukashenko, the republic can no longer restrain the flow of people, since due to Western sanctions it has “neither the money nor the strength for this.”

Lukashenko’s comment about not having the money nor the strength to stop this due to sanctions was funny.
