Kurdish-Turkish Tensions Increase As Turkish Soldiers Enter Northern Aleppo

FILE IMAGE

According to pro-Kurdish sources, last weekend, Turkish soldiers entered the villages of Siftik Wastani, Siftik Fawqani and Bubana in northern Aleppo but were pushed to retreat after a short confrontation with the so-called Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) dominated by Kurdish militias.

If true, Ankara has just been testing the US reaction to possible limited military operations against Kurdish militias in northern Syria.

Krudish sources argue that the Turkish Armed Forces are massing troops and military equipment at the border with Syria for a large-scale invasion. However, this is unlikely while the US has a large number of its troops in the SDF-held area.

Umm, Turkey has had bases there for a while now. 6 bases that are known to the pubic.

This warning means, “dont even think about trying to gain ground in Deir ezzoir and attempt to take the Syrian oil and gas fields there. If u do, we hit Manbij and Afrin. If the USA attempt to stop us, we will leave NATO, deny NATO access to the Black Sea and join Eurasia. Oh yeah, and we have nukes. So suck on that…… bitch”!

Accordingto pro assad sources so called turkish state soldiers illegally entered SDF territory, trying to illegally occupy foreign lands.

This is the kind of wording one often sees Soithfront reporting on SDF, kurds.

SDF has a name, just one. Use it normally, you use the term IS and not the terrorist genocidal so called IS. Right?

Assadophyles will be happy to read that SDF fully took Shahadah quarter and by now also Al Malik. East and west fronts now either a few hundred meters apart or already met.

Southern Raqqah now (almost?) completely liberated.

BE Honest Dutch national……
WHO would u rather see liberate Deir Ezzoir and take back all of its surrounding oil and gas fields either side of the Euphrates river?
Come on…… be honest!

Preferences are irrelevant.

I f you ask me what I think is most likely, then I would say it is most likely that SAA will liberate DeZ, SDF will take most of the to be liberated areas north of the Euphrates.

As for the oilwells, given the new deal between Assad and SDF most of the money, but also expenses, are going to cronies of Assad. At least 35% of the sales go to SDF and allies and they will of course keep part of the production for the region.

Trade between the regions is good for the whole of Syria but Northern Syria will never again be an internal economic colony of the Assad regime. Many small factories have been started in the north, providing jobs, revenue and some economic independence.
