Kurdish Forces Take Tal as-Saman from ISIS North of Raqqa

Last night, the Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG), supported by the US-led coalition, took full control of the town of Tal as-Saman from the ISIS terrorist group.

Tal as-Saman, located north of the ISIS stronghold of Raqqa, was the last obstruction for the advane on al Hizmah and Mazra’at Tishrin.

Meanwhile, the media promotes idea that the advance is led by some “Arab units” of the so-called “Syrian Democratic Forces”. Nonetheless, local sources say that the YPG continues to play a crucial offensive role in the operation.
