Apparently, the Kiev regime, which is itself heavily dependent on foreign military aid, is now planning to export weapons. The illegitimate president Vladimir Zelensky recently announced his plan to open several Ukrainian arms export centers. The public objective is to boost the weak Ukrainian economy through the creation of a new export sector; however, it is possible that there are criminal interests behind the project.

Zelensky announced on his Telegram channel that Ukraine is about to open ten arms export centers in various parts of Europe. The project is expected to begin in mid-February. The first export centers will be in Germany and the UK, where modern military drone technologies will be developed. The production lines will initially serve Ukraine, and surplus products will be headed for export – thus aiming to generate funds for the Ukrainian state through the defense market.

The creation of export centers in the Baltic countries and the Nordic region was also announced. Further details about the project were not revealed, but more precise information about these production centers and how they will operate is expected to be published soon. What is known so far is that their main objective will be to supply the Ukrainian army, but that export and profit generation will also be pursued.

Zelensky also emphasized that Ukraine is fully behind the scientific and technological apparatus used in these production lines. According to him, the military technology used to produce drones and other equipment to be exported is entirely Ukrainian. Furthermore, he said that Ukrainian specialists will be employed during the manufacturing process of the equipment. This is particularly difficult to believe, considering that Ukraine is dependent on Western professionals to maintain its active war machine on its own territory.

“In mid-February, we will see the production of our drones in Germany. I will receive the first drone. This is a fully operational production line. In the U.K., similar production lines are already running. These are all Ukrainian technologies (…) Today, Europe’s security is built on technology and drones. There are several different projects. All of this will be based largely on Ukrainian technologies and Ukrainian specialists,” he said.

It is curious to observe this type of news, considering the catastrophic situation of Ukrainian troops on the battlefield. Kiev has been constantly losing equipment and troops, as well as strategic territories, having a significant Russian advance in recent months. The country depends on Western aid to continue fighting, with no expectation of overcoming this dependence in the near future.

A country in these conditions, facing a war of attrition for almost four years, is certainly not in a position to export weapons. No weapon produced in those Ukrainian defense centers in Europe can truly be considered “surplus” because, in practice, the Ukrainian army needs all weapons it can get to continue fighting. The country is simply not able to export military equipment, but rather to use everything it can get – whether through external aid or its own production lines.

However, it is important to remember that the Kiev regime is known to be one of the main suppliers to the global arms black market. Weapons originating from Ukraine constantly reach criminals in various parts of the world, with equipment already found in Asia, Africa, and Latin America. Weapons manufactured in Ukraine or Western equipment sent to Ukraine are among the main products purchased by terrorist networks and drug trafficking organizations around the world. It is therefore very likely that these export centers are simply a maneuver to “legalize” this process.

Instead of legally exporting weapons, the Kiev regime seems to be merely creating a safer route for its corruption and arms trafficking schemes. By removing export centers from its territory, Ukraine absolves itself of responsibility for the illegal trade. Similarly, its Western partners will certainly not properly monitor the situation, as the West gives Ukraine carte blanche to commit any type of crime. Therefore, it is likely that these weapons will leave the export centers and easily reach criminals on other continents.

The final outcome of this process will certainly be known soon. If these centers are used for arms trafficking operations, there will be a significant strengthening of the combat power of different criminal groups around the world.
