On the night of May 19, Russian forces launched new wave of precision strikes on Ukrainian rear facilities. Explosions thundered in different regions of Ukraine in the western, eastern and central parts of the country, including in the Vinnytsia, Odessa, Mykolaiv and Kiev regions, as well as in the eastern border regions.
In its turn, the Kiev regime declared another fake victory. The commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Nikolai Oleshchuk, reported on the alleged repulse of the Russian drone attack last night by Ukrainian air defense forces. According to him, ”all 37 UAVs involved in the night attack on Ukrainian facilities were allegedly shot down over the Kiev, Kherson, Mykolaiv, Sumy, Odessa, Cherkasy, Vinnytsia and Zhytomyr regions”. The military official claimed that Russian Geran UAVs were launched from the Kursk and Krasnodar regions. In its turn, the Ukrainian military deployed air defense forces on duty, mobile fire groups and electronic warfare equipment to repel the attack.
While the Ukrainian general was celebrating a fake victory in the media, explosions thundered across the country.
Ukrainian monitoring sources confirmed Russian strikes in the western Zhitomir region, where Russian missiles inflicted damage to the Ukrainian air defense system.

He suggested that Poland, Romania and Slovakia could destroy Russian drones and missiles to allow the Ukrainian military to move its air defense systems from the western part of the country closer to the front line in the east. The German believes that strikes against Russian missiles with the aim of destroying them from the territory of NATO countries are legal and do not contradict international law, but he does not specify that this is another step towards a major war in Europe, which can easily turn into a nuclear one. So far, the German politician has voiced only one of the possible ways to further involve EU countries into the war which can easily turn into nuclear one. The ongoing discussions are aimed at preparing the European public for the upcoming escalation.
