The Russian military’s Vostok [East] Group of Forces has repelled seven additional Ukrainian counterattacks in the region of Zaporozhye, mainly close to the Haichur River.
Over the night of February 13 and 14, a total of five counterattacks were reported. The 1st Separate Assault Regiment, more known as “Da Vinci Wolves,” attempted to advance near Andreevka. The 92nd Assault Brigade also attempted to advance southwest of Bratske and northwest of Hai. Both counterattacks were repelled by Russian troops.
The troops also prevented the 33rd Assault Regiment and the 225th Separate Assault Regiment from advancing between Boikovo and Ternovatoe.
Another attempt to advance, this time close to east of Vozdvizhevka, by the 210th Assault Regiment was blocked by Russian troops, who also pushed back the 154th Mechanized Brigade to the east of Zagornoe.
Kiev forces lost around 60 troops and seven armored personnel carriers during these failed counterattacks. The drone units of the Vostok Group of Forces were responsible for most of the losses.

Two more counterattacks were launched by Kiev forces later on February 14. The 1st Separate Assault Regiment attempted to advance again, this time close to Kommunarivka, while the 225th Separate Assault Regiment moved near Staroukrainka.
Again, the Vostok Group of Forces repelled the counterattacks. Ukrainian losses amounted to 20 troops and three armored personnel carriers.
Kiev forces began launching fairly large, coordinated counterattacks in Zaporozhye earlier this week after bringing large reinforcements, including several assault formations and foreign mercenary groups, into the region. They are yet to have any real success, however.
Despite facing poor weather conditions, the Vostok Group of Forces has been putting up effective resistance and inflicting some serious losses on Kiev forces.
The upcoming few days will likely witness more Ukrainian counterattacks, as Kiev appears to be desperate to push back Russian troops in Zaporozhye.
