The Syrian pro-opposition news outlet al-Hal confirmed that two fighters of the Khalid ibn al-Walid Army infiltrated the headquarter of the FSA inside Hayt then managed to escape. Reportedly, Khalid ibn al-Walid Army fighters killed “Abd al-Min’am al-Essa”, a field commander of Liwa al-Harameen along with a fighter of the FSA and injured two others.

In response to the attack, FSA fighters launched dozens of rockets at several positions of the Khalid ibn al-Walid Army in the town of al-Shajarah in the western Daraa countryside.

Earlier this week, FSA fighters attacked three key positions of the Khalid ibn al-Walid Army around Hayt and killed seven fighters of the ISIS-affiliated group.

Local observers believe that the upcoming days will witness more clashes between the Khalid ibn al-Walid Army and the FSA in the western Daraa countryside, as the tension between the two sides have never been higher.
