Israeli Strikes Hit Radar Base In Southern Syria – Reports

A series of Israeli strikes have reportedly targeted a key radar base of the Syrian military in the southern Syrian governorate of al-Suwayda.

Local new sources in al-Suwayda reported hearing three explosions from the direction of the base, which is located on the al-Qalib hill in the governorate’s southeastern countryside, early on December 11. The sources said that the explosions were the result of an Israeli strikes. Nevertheless, the Syrian Arab News Agency didn’t report any attack by Israel. The state-run agency usually acknowledges such attacks within a few hours.

The Israeli military attacked several radars, air defense and electronic warfare bases in the countryside of al-Suwayda over the last few years in order to weaken the air defense and early warning network in southern and central Syria.

If confirmed, this would be Israel’s first attack on Syria in December. Last month, two waves of Israeli airstrikes hit the war-torn country.

On November 13, a series of Israeli airstrikes hit Shayrat Air Base in the eastern countryside of Homs in the central region. The attack claimed the lives of two service members and wounded three others. Later on November 19, another wave of airstrikes hit several military positions in the coast and the central region, killing four service members and wounding another.

In addition, Israel was unofficially blamed for a series of strikes that targeted al-Qa’im crossing on Syria’s border with Iraq on November 8. At least ten people, including Iranian nationals, were killed in the attack.

Israel stepped up its attacks on Syria recently in a another attempt to pressure Iran to halt its military activities in the country, especially the smuggling of advanced weapons to Hezbollah in neighboring Lebanon.

The pariah rump entity of khaZar squatters in apartheid occupied Palestine is begging to be destroyed. The day will surely come when USSAN tax cattle tribute dries up with the collapse of the Saudi Mercan toilet paper dollah. The welfare warfare thugs are destined for extinction when the ME finally arises.

Saudi Arabia is getting closer to China now.

Since Israel is a creature of criminal habit, Syria can expect another attack quite soon. Every time they hit Syrian AD, an attack on military targets is not far behind. It would warm my heart if Syria/Iran/Hez set a trap for this coming attack.

It would also warm my heart but given the recent past expect the opposite. Question is why?
