Three Palestinians are killed by the Israeli military forces over alleged shooting and stabbing attacks across the Old City of al-Quds (Jerusalem) as well as the Israeli-occupied West Bank.

On Wednesday, Israeli police spokesperson Micky Rosenfeld said that Israeli forces killed two Palestinians accused of having conducted two separate attacks in al-Quds.

“The two were killed after the second alleged attack, in which they were said to have shot and seriously wounded a 50-year-old man near Damascus Gate in al-Quds,” Rosenfeld said.

It is also reported that an hour earlier, the two armed men had purportedly targeted passengers aboard an Israeli bus in the Ramat neighborhood of occupied al-Quds with gunfire.

Also on Wednesday, a Palestinian man was killed and another seriously wounded while allegedly attempting to stab an Israeli soldier northwest of the central West Bank city of Salfit.

Since Israel’s imposition in August 2015, the occupied territories have been the scene of heightened tensions of restrictions on the entry of Palestinian worshipers into the al-Aqsa Mosque compound in East al-Quds.

Since the beginning of last October, nearly 200 Palestinians, including children and women, have lost their lives at the hands of Israeli forces
