An Israeli drone fell inside Syrian territory in the countryside of al-Quneitra. The IDF claimed the loss on August 15th.
The Skylark unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) fell as a result of a technical malfunction after it penetrated Syrian airspace up to 10 kilometers.
The IDF clarified that there was no fear of information leaking.
“The incident is being investigated” – the report reads.

Skylark small-sized reconnaissance UAVs are in service with the IDF for tactical purposes. The are often used for reconnaissance support of the ground forces. The IDF uses Skylark miniature UAVs to collect information in southern Syria.
Skylarks are manufactured by Silver Arrow, a subsidiary of Elbit Systems. UAVs of this type are equipped with an electro-optical monitoring system and have a range of up to 100 km and an endurance of around 6 hours.
