The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) expanded ground operations in the Gaza Strip on March 23 by launching a new offensive in the area of Beit Lahia in the northern part of the Palestinian enclave.
In a statement, the IDF said that the offensive in Beit Lahia was aimed at destroying the infrastructure of the Hamas Movement and expanding a buffer zone along the border. During the operation, Israeli Air Force fighter jets struck several Hamas targets in the area.
The military noted that it was allowing the remaining Palestinian civilians there to evacuate the “combat zone for their safety.”
More than 700 Palestinians, mostly civilians, have been reportedly killed in a surprise attack by Israel on Gaza since March 18, shattering a ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement that was brokered by the United States, Egypt and Qatar last January.
Since the start of the attack, the IDF has also reoccupied key areas in the north, center and south of the Strip without facing any real resistance from Hamas and other Palestinian armed factions.
Before announcing the new offensive in Beit Lahia, the IDF issued an “urgent” and immediate evacuation warning for Palestinian civilians in the Tel Sultan neighborhood of the area of Rafah in southern Gaza.
In a post on the X social network, the IDF’s Arabic-language spokesman, Colonel Avichay Adraee, published a map of the area that is to be evacuated, saying that “the area you are in is considered a dangerous combat zone” as the military carries out operations there.
Gazans were instructed to move on foot immediately via the so-called Gush Katif road toward the al-Mawasi area on the southern Strip’s coast. “Movement in vehicles is prohibited,” the spokesman noted.
He further warned that staying in Tel Sultan or traveling via other routes “puts your life and the lives of your families at risk.
“Evacuate the area immediately,” the post added.
Separately, Hamas confirmed on March 23 that one of its senior officials, Salah al-Bardawil, was killed along with his wife in one of the Israeli strikes that hit the area of Khan Younis in southern Gaza overnight. Bardawil was a well-known member of the group’s political bureau who gave media interviews over the years.
Al-Bardawil was the latest in a string of senior Hamas officials to have been killed since Israel renewed its attack on Gaza.
The lack of any resistance in Gaza appears to have encouraged Israel to up its goals, with the security cabinet approving a suggestion by Defense Minister Israel Katz to establish a new administration in the Defense Ministry tasked with enabling Palestinians to “voluntarily” leave the Strip.
In a statement issued late on March 22, Katz’s office said that the new directorate will work to “prepare for and enable safe and controlled passage of Gaza residents for their voluntary departure to third countries, including securing their movement, establishing movement routes, checking pedestrians at designated crossings in the Gaza Strip, as well as coordinating the provision of infrastructure that will enable passage by land, sea and air to the destination countries.”
The statement added that the efforts to enable Gazans who seek to migrate from the Strip to do so, are being carried out “subject to Israeli and international law, and in accordance with the vision of U.S. President Donald Trump.”
Trump proposed a plan to resettle Palestinians outside Gaza right after assuming office earlier this year. Recent reports revealed that both the U.S. and Israel had engaged Sudan, Somalia, Somaliland and even Syria on the matter. Palestinians had categorically rejected the proposal.
“We are working with all means to implement the US president’s vision, and we will allow any Gaza resident who wants to move to a third state to do so,” Katz said in the statement.
Overall, it appears that more than a year of fighting have taken a toll on Hamas and other factions in Gaza. With nearly 50,000 Palestinians killed and much of the Strip destroyed, the rulers of the enclave could soon make serious concessions like releasing all the remaining Israeli hostages.

the problem is gutless arab countries who have done nothing against the israelis they have not even broke off diplomatic relations or sanctioned those genocidal scum, the egyptians could and should have sent their army into gaza as soon as the genocide started, the egyptian men who stormed sinai over the river in october 1973 and then fought the israelis to a standstill with the help of russian trained and armed forces and weapons like the sega anti tank missile that shredded israeli tanks.?
there are always quisling whores like the turds in syria, the head chopper proxies, fake king abdullah, the petty gulf sheikhdoms and puppet president sisi willing to serve zio interests and stab fellow moslems in the back. these people need to be weeded out.

i doubt there are enough people in the whole middle east to satisfy j*w blood lust.
the zio regime and its jewsa golem will not succeed in their objectives. they are desperate because of their declining economic and political power and loss of legitimacy, lashing out with escalating barbaric violence and undisguised blatant criminality, atrocities of a nazi character committed on a nazi scale. they are digging their own grave, no matter how many massacres they perpetrate, no matter how many civilians they murder.
time is not on their side. they are living on borrowed time, and they know it. they will lash out irrationally with increasing violence discarding any pretence of noble motives. trying to grab whatever land and resources they covet in blatant 19th century style imperialism, even their most servile satellites like canada and greenland new victims of the mafia type predator. but they are running into a brick wall of reality, of unlimited objectives and limited resources.
all they will succeed in doing is solidify and cement global opposition to their aggression and criminality, the zio regime and the jewsa are like rabid dogs that have to be put down for the sake of global peace and order. the jewsa has not been at peace for a single day in the 21st century. the world is too large and diverse for domination by any one state to be feasible. megalomaniacs have pursued world domination in the past, and they all share the same ignominious fate.

israel is making enemies on many fronts . will thier idealistic intentions lead them to over extend ? uncle sams military complex has it’s best forever war . the war bankers already counting future profits . the innocent us citizens will get austerity .
gaza is perfect for guerilla, asymetric and urban warfare.
a few sniper and rpg teams could make it hell for shlomos.
so why no or only weak and sporadic resistance?
watch this space. things are going to hot up in gaza, syria and yemen. this is just the start of another 20 year war. just like iraq. just like afghanistan.
“axis of resistance” rip (rest in piss)!!!
shlomo’s jewsa golem will soon be of very limited value. mired in degeneracy and unpayable debt, on the verge of financial, economic, political, social and moral collapse, if not outright civil war. a dysfunctional hell hole with millions of homeless living in 3rd world shanty towns, streets covered in human doo doo. all the wealth in the hands of a few zio billionaires. de industrialised, producing nothing but pornography, crappy films nobody watches and demmick weapons that don’t work.
reviled by the rest of the planet. only the zio regime itself is more despised. shlomo will have to find some other sucker to leech off. nmo shekels for shlomo. sad.
mulatto expand my anuz while facing no resistance.
why no opposition? because hamas does not exist! wake up!
shlomo is biting off more than he can chew. there will be no peace or stability on the borders of the zio regime, just constant war in all directions and the burden of occupying a large area of syria, lebanon and gaza. murdering thousands of children will no doubt appease the unrivalled blood lust of the j**s, but otherwise it will achieve little. it will be faced with an open ended insurgency akin to the 20 year campaign in south lebanon.
there are obvious implications for the zio economy, internal stability, foreign investment, tourism, government debt, the houthi blockade, and many more areas. emigration has skyrocketed higher than a houthi missile. this has already dragged on for 18 months, and there is no reason to believe it will not carry on indefinitely. anyone fancy a holiday in sunny eilat? take your tin hat with you.
plus my mother is a cont…
