Israel closed the airspace over its northern region on September 21, just a day after targeting senior members of Hezbollah in the Lebanese capital, Beirut.

The closer, which will last a full day, includes skies from the city of Hadera, some 48 kilometers north of the city of Tel Aviv city and around 38 kilometers to the south of the port of Haifa, northward.

Head of air intelligence at the Civil Aviation Authority said in a statement that “due to security tensions, all infrastructures in the domestic space are closed to all types of aircraft” to facilitate the operations of the Israeli Air Force.

The move came just a day after an Israeli strike hit the southern Beirut suburb of Dahiyeh, killing Hezbollah top military commander Ibrahim Aqil, who led the elite Radwan Force, and several other senior members of the group, including the commander of the Central Training Unit Ahmed Wahbi.

According to the latest update by the Lebanese Health Ministry, the strike killed at least 31 people, including three children and seven women, and left more than 68 others wounded.

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) said that at least ten senior members of Hezbollah were killed alongside Aqil, while the group has mourned the commander and 15 other members since the attack. It is unclear however how many of them were killed in Dahiyeh.

Hezbollah and its allies in Lebanon have been launching near-daily attacks against the IDF in support of the Gaza Strip since the start of the Israeli war on the Palestinian enclave last October.

The IDF latest operations against Hezbollah, including the strike on Dahiyeh and the sabotage attack that targeted communication devices used by the group’s members a few days earlier, indicate that Israel wants to launch a full-on war against Lebanon.

“…indicate that israel wants to launch a full-on war against lebanon.” wow, really? they’ve only been saying this how long? hezbollah needs to target and level israeli air bases…or start downing their planes, if they are able. bavar 373 was supposed to be better than s-300, but israel still hit iran. syria is still stuck using s-200 and they have pantsir, israel has hit both. how does ukr strike inside russia? what’s wrong with this picture?

Awakend

they waited too long should have gone all in on oct7 last year all of this would be avoided. if they all went all in at the same time and the taliban was let through iran as they requested to join the fight the zionist regime would have been finished.

high losses or not if they went all in both sides and got aid from surrounding powers they could have defeated the zog army.

Name

you cannot defeat zog by defeating israël. zog controls the west. the head of the snake is in new york.

as long as hezbollah does not raze the air bases and planes, it is he who will be fleeced. why are they shooting into space? that is the question
