On February 27, ISIS’s news agency, Amaq, shared photos showing loads of weapons which were captured by the terrorist group’s cells in the northeastern Mozambican province of Cabo Delgado.
ISIS terrorists captured the weapons during a series of three attacks that took place in the district of Macomia on February 23.
The terrorists attacked three positions of the Mozambique Defence Armed Forces [Portuguese: Forças Armadas de Defesa de Moçambique] (FADM) in the villages of Litmanda, Chai and Kent. According to Amaq, several soldiers of the FADM were killed or wounded during the attacks.
The weapons captured by the terrorists in the course of the attacks included dozens of assault rifles, handguns, hand grenades and rocket propelled grenades.

Cabo Delgado is the home to a $60 billion natural gas project led by French energy giant Total. In 2021, the company was forced to suspend the project indefinitely due to an escalation of violence by ISIS cells in the province.
ISIS’s local branch in Cabo Delgado, al-Shabaab, has between 2,000 and 4,500 terrorists. The terrorist group has been active in the province since 2015.
The FADM has been receiving much support against the terrorist group. Special forces from Portugal, the UK and the US as well as privet military contractors from Russia, China and South Africa all backed the armed forces’ operations in Cabo Delgado at some point in the last few years.

So the Mozambican Army, FADM, has been receiving much support from Portugal, the UK and the US as well as private military contractors from Russia, China and South Africa, and still their ass is being kicked by bunch of ISIS clowns??
Weird right? Something doesn’t add up.
ISIS has probably been infiltrated by so many sides.
