ISIS Says Its Members Carried Out 245 Operations Around The World To Avenge Their Slain Leader

On May 6, ISIS announced that is members had carried out 245 operations around the world as a part of a military campaign mean to avenge its former leader and spokesman.

ISIS confirmed the death of its leader Abu Ibrahim al-Hashimi al-Qurashi and spokesman Abu Hamza al-Qurashi in March. Abu Ibrahim died during a US raid that targeted his hideout in the northwestern Syrian region of Greater Idlib on February 3. Six children and four women were among 13 people who died in the raid on the hideout. It remains unclear, however, if Abu Hamzah was killed in the same raid.

The terrorist group’s revenge campaign, codenamed the “Battle of Revenge for the Killing of the Two Sheikhs,” began on April 17 and ended on May 2.

In an infographic released by the al-Naba, ISIS claimed that its members carried out 245 operations in the course of the campaign. The operations took place in the Philippines, Pakistan, India, Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, Syria, Iraq, Egypt, Libya, Somalia, Congo, Chad, Niger and Nigeria.

The operations included 73 attacks with explosive devices, 32 assassinations, 93 raids, 11 ambushes and two bombings.

ISIS alleges 726 people, including 23 officers and commanders of its foes, were killed or wounded during the Battle of Revenge for the Killing of the Two Sheikhs.

The terrorist groups also listed the following material losses:

  • Seven governmental buildings, two churches and a Shiite shrine were set on fire;
  • 73 vehicles were damaged or destroyed and seven others were captured;
  • Six military bases, 30 houses and 28 thermal surveillance cameras were destroyed.

ISIS has already appointed a new leader, Abu al-Hassan al-Hashimi al-Qurashi, and a new spokesman, Abu Omar al-Muhajir. Very little is known about the two terrorists.

Surprisingly, ISIS’s revenge campaign didn’t target the US or American troops anywhere, despite the fact that the US was the side responsible for the death of the terrorist group’s former leader and spokesman.

Overall, the revenge campaign demonstrated that ISIS, although not as capable as before, is still determined to revive its caliphate.

Isis is clearly fighting against African imperialism on behalf of Israel just like the Ukrainians are fighting Russian imperialism on behalf of United States of Israel. Soon we we’ll have a true democratic and free world thanks to these warriors.
