ISIS news agency, Amaq, has released photos and videos of recent attacks by the terrorist group in northeastern Nigeria.

In an attack that took place on June 17 ISIS terrorists raided a station of the Nigerian Police and a Red Cross center in the town of Gujba in Yobe State. Four Nigerian policemen were killed. The terrorists burned the buildings as well as a bulldozer before fleeing.

The second attack took place on June 21 in Borno State. In the attack, ISIS terrorists stormed a base of the Nigerian Armed Forces located near the town of Maynti. The terrorists also clashed with government reinforcements. Eventually, they withdrew from the base.

Amaq also released footage from an attack on a camp of the Nigerian Armed Forces near the town of Maiduguri in Borno. However, the news agency didn’t clarify when the attack took place. Two armored vehicles were captured then burned by the terrorists during the attack.

ISIS cells have been working to establish a stronghold in northeastern Nigeria, mainly in the area bordering Lake Chad, for a while now.

With the lack of any meaningful military action from Nigerian government forces, the terrorist group appears to be today closer than ever to achieving its goals.

How come they got to the bund supposedly protecting the camp. Were the guards sleeping . Most seem to have belt fed machine guns for suppressing fire power even if the first one is shooting the clouds. The Nigerians in a base in a hot area and no defense . What hope have they got against dedicated fighters with a desire to have sex with a goat .

Its easy to recruit poor people by showing them materislism as there is no opportunity and no economy for people. So they become radicalized and get paid. Then its bigger mafias and gangs doing kidnapping and getting ransom. Education is key that will make them leave.
