On November 15, Zarrouk Suwayta, a Libyan security official in Sirte city in northern Libya, announced that ISIS fighters reappeared south of the city. According to Suwayta, ISIS members established a checkpoint in Buhadi area 20km south of Sirte. Suwayta also revealed that dozens of ISIS fighters are now stationed in the valley 80km south of the Buhadi area.

The Libyan Government of National Accord (LGNA), which controls Sirte, announced on November 14 that 8 ISIS fighters were arrested by its armed forces after minor clashes in the Jaref area south of the city. The arrest is yet another evidence that ISIS is now growing again in Libya.

Site city was captured by the LGNA back on December 6, 2016, after a six-month battle. However, it appears that the LGNA, which is heavily influenced by Islamists, is unable to counter the ISIS influence in its areas for real.

During the last week, clashes between the Libyan National Army (LNA) led by General Khalifa Haftar and ISIS cells were also reported in Benghazi city in northern Libya. According to Libyan sources, few ISIS fighters managed to capture the al-Baladi hotel and few streets around it in Benghazi earlier this week. However, the LNA was able to recapture most of the lost positions and besieged the ISIS members inside the hotel as for now. The sources reported that only one LNA soldier was killed in the clashes.

Meanwhile in northeastern Libya, Shura Council of Mujahideen in Derna city announced that it repelled another attack of the LNA on the  Dahr al-Ahmar area around Derna. The LNA attack was aimed at tightening the siege on Derna city, according to Libyan sources.

Shura Council of Mujahideen in Derna is considered one of the most radical Islamist forces in Libya, and it is openly affiliated with the LGNA. Shura Council of Mujahideen in Derna even called on the LGNA to assist in breaking the LNA siege on the city after the LNA attack.

Some believe that the LGNA, which dominated by the Muslim Brotherhood, allowed al-Qaeda and then ISIS to grow freely inside Libya. Due to this, countries like Egypt and the UAE are supporting the LNA not only to defeat ISIS, but also to counter the influence of the LGNA.

They should call the ISIS extermination experts – Russians.

alejoeisabel

Had Syria not invited Russia to defend against the US/Israel/Saudi Arabia terrorism, it would be the mess of that Libya now is in.

Nigel Maund

Absolutely correct; well said!

Rob

Who bring ISIS and Al-Qaeda commanders from Syria and Iraq to Libya in Helicopters? Zionist America and NATO.

alejoeisabel

Libya is a US/Nato creation, and the whole world knows it.

Who paid for those brand new Toyota pick up trucks?

Nigel Maund

Precisely…. the Georg Soros Open Society Foundation or the US taxpayer via CIA laundered funds?

Carol Davidek-Waller

Hillary’s little victory.

Her and Obama should rot in hell for what they did there.

The fact of the matter is that the US, UK and EU are controlled by the Rothschild’s led Zionist International Bankster – Corporatist Cabal whose objective is Global hegemony by any means however, dishonest and evil. Their agenda is to utilise radical Islamic groups as Proxy Armies to do their dirty work for them while they skulk in the background providing CIA and special forces advisors, intelligence and material support. Besides military and political control, they seek to take key natural resources, especially light or internediate sweet crude oil to support the Cabal’s medium of financial control and political muscle, the US$. However, people are at long last waking up to this game and now this evil Cabal will almost certainly resort to ever more drastic and destructive false flag attacks to influence their electorates through their totally controlled mainstream media; and moreover via massive increasing censorship in the alt internet media and through targeted smear campaigns. These people are extremely evil and play as dirty as it can possibly get. Be under no illusions, humanity as a whole is under very grave danger from these people and their puppet States; indeed they are the most dangerous group in the human history of the planet.

Spot on.

Nigel Maund

The Cabal’s main short term objective is to create chaos and initiate World War III by any means possible involving direct provocation, major false flag attacks supporrted by utterly distorted and sensationalist MSM hype. They’re running scared as their key players are being exposed for embezzlement (Uranium 1), vote rigging, murder, assassinations, paedophilia on an industrial scale (Pizzagate) and. moreover, wholesale manipulation and rigging of all financial and commodities markets. They have to start a major war before their debt laden rotten financial system implodes exposing the enormous scale of their crimes over some 250 years.

France, Italy, and the rest of NATO must be crying over the crisis they created in Libya. If Gaddafi were still here, there would be no mass refugee influx to the EU’s shores.

Goes to show that if someone plans for change, they better be ready to deal with the consequences.

hhabana

I think many Europeans are too stupid to realize this or admit. I have some relatives in Europe and educated. I don’t think they realize what you and I do regarding the crisis created refugees.

Daesh is decreasing in Syria and Iraq, but it is increasing in Libya, hmm… Hey wait!

Libyans are fools just like Syrians…they havent learned their lesson from all over the world…they are divided into 2 sides fighting each other for control…..who benefits?ISIS has almost full control of Libya , only minor coastal parts are ruled by the 2 fractions…..and now its time to take over the whole country…..i bet that Libya will be the first ISIS controlled country. And i mean full control.
