On November 17, the Russian-backed ISIS Hunters announced that they have fully secured Kate Island north of the city of Deir Ezzor and captured 250 fighters of ISIS. The captured ISIS fighters had been trapped inside the island since the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) liberated Deir Ezzor on November 3.

The ISIS Hunters revealed that they launched their final attack on Kate Island on November 14. The Russian-backed force besieged the ISIS fighters inside the island and didn’t allow them to escape through the Euphrates River.

Hundreds of civilians were also hiding in Kate Island, according to Syrian oppositions activists. These civilians were likely evacuated to the govement-held areas. However, no official source talked about the fate of these civilians.

Deir Ezzor can be now considered fully secured and liberated from ISIS. The surrender of such high numbers of ISIS fighters show that the terrorist group members are suffering from low morale. More ISIS members will likely surrender in the coming months in Syria and Iraq.

Daniel Castro

After you milk everything they know about the USA/SDF/Israel collusion.

Moussa Saab

I wouldn’t trust them building anything but their own prisons.

christianblood

KILL THEM ALL AND SHOW THEM NOOOOOO MERCY!

Steven Fay

Lock em in and just throw in some grenades.

Nice roasty! Had one like that with a motorbike fall…

Steven Fay

An ISIS idiot with an injury, who cares , a grenade will cure him.

dutchnational

Right. Just kill the civillians like SAA has killed so many these last 6 years.

Eskandar Black

The SDF terrorist apologist is here to trash the SAA, your gypsies will answer for their crimes.

dontlietome

You are clearly not from this planet, more likely Zog, You’ve never understood the big picture. You should volunteer to fight with ISIS and then you can speak with an inkling of knowledge. But something tells me that your dutch courage won’t extend that far.

FlorianGeyer

Good point :)

Barba_Papa

Dude, since when are ISIS troops, who have fought in uniform, civilians?

But I agree, let’s not kill these ISIS soldiers. Let’s do what the SDF does, give them a free bus ride to fight again. Catch and release, usually in territory adjacent to SAA territory. Only this time adjacent SDF territory. Its the humanitarian thing to do, right? Them being civilians.

Blucross

Very well done.

Rafik Chauhan

GIVE THEM HARD LABOUR TO REBUILD WHAT THEY DESTROYED

Vitex

I don’t often take this stance, but that’s just a whole bunch of guys in a room. Photo-op.

jerry Hamilton

Remember this pic. with Jihadi Jonn.
Look at the shadows on the faces of the Japanese and guess where the sun is.

Mr. Alwaysbanned

what the…?

jerry Hamilton

Exactly. We don’t have two suns. Just a photo shoot.
They made a similar blunder in a pic. for the Boston Marathon Bombing too.

Garga

We had TWO suns?
Or sun is much closer to earth in ISIS territory that I thought.

jerry Hamilton

Look at the head shadow on the guy on the left, as we are looking at the pic.
Should the shadow not be on the same side for the guy on the right?

Vitex

That’s just the reflected blackness of the dude in the middle :)

jerry Hamilton

No, it is stage lighting.

In all the confusion about who he is, people forget to look at simple things like shadows. Why should this photo just before the race have conflicting shadows?

jerry Hamilton

Look at the shadows on the ground.

dontlietome

Does it matter ????????????????

Serious

Pay them 1 dollar a week to rebuild Syria.

Keith Smith

use em to clear landmined areas. send these dogs in first. if they dont blow up, they can clear more tomorrow

Serious

Good idea.

Wegan

So, how these bunch of losers came to conquer two countries, establish an international network for recruitment and master the usage of diverse weaponry? That was actually a sarcastic question.

Barba_Papa

To not give a sarcastic reply, because they were lucky to exploit a vacuum where Western backed Jihadis had already beaten or driven out the SAA in most of Eastern Syria, because the Iraqi army was utter shit, and because ISIS actually was well led and armed. Don’t forget that a large part of its force consisted of former well armed Al Qaida and other Jihadi troops that had defected to ISIS. And that it has taken years of grueling bitter fighting to defeat ISIS. They’ve put up a hell of a fight and made the SAA and rebuilt Iraqi army fight for every inch. That is not the sign of a bunch of losers. Its taken years of concerted effort and bitter fighting to turn them from a well armed Jihadi force capable of fighting conventional armies, into these current bunch of losers. We should do well to remember the hard work of the SAA, it’s allies, the Iraqi army and the Russians to reach this point.

Nod

You babble opinion as knowledge.

They have always come from american training, and american money.

In the 80s, when we first took the taliban under our umbrella, trained and outfitted them, called them Al Qaeda , in order they might kill Russian invaders, they were called as freedom fighters, as they actually were. This is fact as testified to by Hillary Clinton to congress.

. Reagan called them the equivalent of our founding fathers. And the Taliban had a right to repel Russian invaders

Al Qaeda leaders have admitted their membership joined the ISIS, as soon as it was created by Americans, and their Muslims allies. American training and munitions, Saud, Turk, and Qatari terrorists sent into Syria and Iraq….

ISIS wasn’t no random occurrence, and only a moron would think so. Given the time after time after time repeat patterns and the fact supporting those patterns. Given the fact the ISIS does only one thing, creates instability and allows globalists to control countries like they want to. A destabilized country, is almost as good as one with an installed puppet gov.

2012 Defense Intelligence Agency document:

West will facilitate rise of Islamic State “in order to isolate the Syrian regime

“Astoundingly, the newly declassified report states that for “THE WEST, GULF COUNTRIES, AND TURKEY [WHO] SUPPORT THE [SYRIAN] OPPOSITION… THERE IS THE POSSIBILITY OF ESTABLISHING A DECLARED OR UNDECLARED SALAFIST PRINCIPALITY IN EASTERN SYRIA (HASAKA AND DER ZOR), AND THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT THE SUPPORTING POWERS TO THE OPPOSITION WANT, IN ORDER TO ISOLATE THE SYRIAN REGIME…”.

The DIA report, formerly classified “SECRET//NOFORN” and dated August 12, 2012, was circulated widely among various government agencies, including CENTCOM, the CIA, FBI, DHS, NGA, State Dept., and many others.”
