It is reported that ISIS terrorists have executed six women on women’s day in Iraq’s embattled northern province of Nineveh as the terrorist group continues perpetrating crimes on a large scale in the areas under their control.

A Russian news agency said four Izadi women, who were held as slaves by ISIS terrorists, were killed while trying to escape from al-Hadar district of the northern city of Mosul on 8th March.

“It is very sad news for us all, when the world is celebrating women’s day, our women are dying in the hands of terrorists,” a local reporter said.

The report also added that ISIS terrorists also killed two other women from Mosul, who were working at Nineveh police department, for alleged charges of cooperating with Iraqi army forces.

Since ISIS terror offensive began on June 2014, the northern and western parts of Iraq have been plagued by violence.

However, Iraqi army soldiers and fighters from Popular Mobilization Units are seeking to win back militant-held regions in joint operations.
