On December 1, ISIS fighters attacked several positions of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) in the village of Hamadan located west of the city of al-Bukamal, near the Syrian-Iraqi border, according to the ISIS-linked news agency Amaq.
The media outlet said that two soldiers of the SAA were killed by ISIS snipers in Hamadan during the attack.
Amaq added that ISIS fighters targeted several positions of the SAA in Hamadan with Malyutka anti-tank guided missiles (ATGMs). ISIS also shelled the SAA positions in the western part of al-Bukamal with mortars, according to the source.
Syrian opposition sources claimed that ISIS fighters attacked the SAA in the T-2 station 70km west of al-Bukamal. However, these claims were not confirmed.
Meanwhile, pro-government sources said that that the SAA, Hezbollah, Iranian-backed forces and some units of the Tiger Forces are preparing to launch the final phase of their attack to retake the remaining ISIS-held part of the western bank of the Euphrates. The upcoming attack of the SAA will be critical for the victory over ISIS. A large number of ISIS fighters and leaders will be besieged in the Homs desert if the attack succeeded.
zio satanic terrorists are forever losers – the deepest perm hell will be their final abode together with their masters and supporters
The Russians have been making bomber runs in SE DE almost every day for weeks. That adds up after a while. Once the Syrian government coalition closes the riverside gap to create a new contained pocket. The war will enter a new phase with a transition to clearing contained interior and border pockets. Including the NE SDF area.
I’m anticipating that the government footprint growing while the regime change and secessionist element’s footprints shrink, isn’t going to change. And that government administration will progressively be reestablished in these areas as they’re cleared and secured.
Nobody listens to you, RD.
Your hatred of truth is your problem not mine.
Apparently you are wrong.
SAA is slowed down by the gargantuan amounts of weaponry they keep capturing from ISIS…
Seems to me they lose more to IS and opposition both as in destroyed and captured then they capture themselves. SAA losses amount to several tanks daily as of late.
They’re operating in some classic tank-killing (people-killing, too) territory. It’s a wonder they have any left.
At some point they will exhaust their supply of older tanks. Will Russia supply new ones in sufficient quantities?
So you believe all HTS and Amaq reports?
Your head is full of BS propaganda for sure. :(
amn
Even pro SAA sources admit to severe lossess, both men and materiël. Tiger forces admitted tot losing 250 or so last month.
Yeah cause 6-7 years of straight civil war wouldn’t cause you to lose most of your stockpile
Acc to sources Syria once had over 3k tanks. They must have lost most of them by now.
Your guess? They “must have” according to who? You and your bud at SOHR and that rabble at Amaq?
That has got to be the most ignorant statement you have made so far on Southfront divide all those tanks into their proper catergories are they all MBT’s fair enough even then you have weapons ranging from the T-72, T-62, T-55/54’s and more, equipment switches hands and equipment at the beginning of the war was captured by different rebels groups who also switched hands at it and add ISIS to the mix too so we don’t have an exact number of any Syrian equipment until the war’s over….plus Russia has sent them replacement tanks from the T90A tanks to the T62m’s…..”they must have lost them by now”…. lol guess you don’t watch news from the frontlines unless its Al-Qaeda or ISIS propaganda huh…
According to Amaq News Agency?
There is big chance that Al-Baghdadi is there, that’s why they add so much effort in offensive instead of defense and run off.
Was there a sighting?
Who said ISIS is defeated?
First photo is a guy aiming at a brick wall 10 feet away. seriously? :DDDD
The map I checked shows that ISIS only holds the villages of Al Siyai and Al Hasrat on the western side of the river (just N of Bukamal). After that SAA will clear the desert to the west, I think the operation will be completed within 10 days.
GO TIGERS GO (now to IDLIB) :)

He can’t help it, he was born that way.
Putin said Russia would reduce the size of the troops deployed there, which makes sense. Russia is not leaving Syria. Solomon is just a cowardly propagandist polluting the internet with his lies.
LoL
When the SAA=Hezbollah=Iran get together to carry out an offensive, there is only one loser;TheRats1 Death to the worms! Victory to SAA and Hezbollah and Iran!
