On December 20, the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Units (PMU) repelled another attack by ISIS on its positions around the Tall Safuk crossing on the Syrian-Iraqi border, according to the PMU media wing.
The PMU media wing reported that five fighters of ISIS were killed and a vehicle of the terrorist group was destroyed by PMU fighters while they were repelling the attack.
From its side, the ISIS-linked news agency Amaq claimed that its fighters burned three positions of the PMU around Tall Safuk during the attack. ISIS fighters also killed eight fighters of the PMU and injured many others, according to Amaq.
Meanwhile, north of the Iraqi capital Baghdad ISIS cells conducted a terrifying attack against the Iraqi Tribal PMU. Amaq reported that few ISIS fighters sneaked into a position of the Tribal PMU in the village of al-Asakra and killed all the PMU fighters inside it while they were asleep.
These attacks confirm that ISIS is still capable of conducting hit and run attacks against Iraqi government forces not only from other countries, but also from the secured areas inside Iraq just like before 2014.
I though Al -Baghdadi was captured. XD
Al-Baghdadi was a character created and used by US to grab land from Syria.
Hahahahaha. That guy is weather in his villa in Hollywood Hills or he is someone’s wild imagination.
So that guy DOESN’T EXISTS!
INSHALLAH MOBARAK!!! AMAZING WORK PMU!!! SORRY FOR THE LOSSES BUT DAESH IS ALREADY FUCKED!!! LOL
Like a bully man Natenyahu openly attacking every middle east country against international law which is an open political crime. If tomorrow another country bomb Israel so then Trump will be pissed off or not.
Surprise attacks like this require near perfect intelligence. (I know this from experience.) So, from whom is IS getting their target folders?
Maybe. It’s well known the most tribal/PMF militias aren’t well trained or have much in the way of trade-craft. Imagine them all sleeping without a sentry? Or maybe it was a sloppy sentry that gave away his position. From what I’ve seen of Daesh fighters – they’re usually well trained and motivated. But yeah, I wouldn’t be surprised at all that sleepers have been left behind.
Take a wild guess. But these are post mortem motions.
:-) It was a rhetorical question.
