Iraqi Forces Liberate Khaldiyah Town in Anbar Province

Iraq’s Joint Operations Command has announced that Iraqi forces had liberated that town of Khaldiyah in the province of Anbar. The town is located 90 km west Baghdad.

The city of Ramadi, the Anbar provincial capital, was liberated from the ISIS terrorist group in December 2015. The strategic city of Fallujah, also in Anbar, was liberated by Iraqi forces in June 2016.

After these significant vicrotries Iraqi forces are developing momentum across the country with special attentions to the areas near the ISIS last major stronghold in the country, Mosul.
