The Islamic Resistance in Iraq (IRI), an umbrella group of Iran-backed armed factions, had carried out two more drone attacks against Israel.

The attacks, which took place on October 18 and 19, target two “vital targets” in the northern part of the “occupied terrorists,” according to two separate statements released by the group.

The attacks were carried out “in response to the massacres committed by the usurping entity [Israel] against civilians, including children, women, and the elderly” in the Palestinian enclave of the Gaza Strip and Lebanon, the group said, vowing that “operations against enemy strongholds will continue at an increasing pace.”

Videos released by the IRI showed the launched of what appeared to be at least two Iranian-made Shahed-101 suicide drones.

On October 18, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) said that its air defenses intercepted a “suspicious aerial target” that was heading toward Israel from Syria. According to a statement by the military, the suspected drone did not cross into Israeli airspace.

The IDF admitted on October 19 that another drone launched “from the east” impacted in the occupied Syrian Golan Heights.

The military said in a statement that the drone entered Israeli territory from Syria. The statement didn’t specify where the drone was launched from, though the military has frequently referred to attacks launched from Iraq as hailing “from the east.”

The IRI began carrying out attacks against Israel as well as against United States forces in Iraq and neighboring Syria last October in response to the Israeli all-out war on Gaza. In September, the group escalated its attacks against Israel in response to Israel’s ongoing aerial campaign and ground operations against Hezbollah in Lebanon.

Two Israeli troops were killed and at least 24 others were wounded on October 3 when a base in the Golan Heights was struck by a drone launched from Iraq by the IRI. This was the first time an attack by the group killed Israelis.

Israel has not openly responded to the IRI’s attacks yet. However, it was blamed for several strikes that targeted Iran-backed armed factions along the Syrian-Iraqi border and near the Syrian capital, Damascus. Iraqi fighters and commanders were killed in some of these strikes.

no excuse is needed to hit the zio-genocidal psychos.

until (1) the idf retreats forever out of ‘all’ palestine, (2) $trns are paid in compensation and reparations and (3) ‘all’ land and mineral/energy rights are returned to ‘all’ palestine, then israel and it’s sychophantic colonial backers are ‘all’ fair game wherever and whenever.

this bogus tit-for-tat ‘rule’ is bs straight out of the colonial playbook, and should be ignored.
