Iraqi army liberates several villages after fighting ISIS near Fallujah

The Iraqi Army and popular committees launched two large-scale offensives on Monday inside the Al-Anbar Governorate on several sites under the control of ISIS in Ramadi’s eastern countryside and the Karma-Fallujah part of the province.

It is reported that the Iraqi Army and their allies reportedly seized the small villages of Al-Subhiyah and Al-Kabishat after a violent battle with the ISIS terrorists near western Iraq’s strategic city of Fallujah.

Iraqi Ministry of Defense said that the Iraqi Army’s offensive in eastern Ramadi will focus on Al-Hamidiyah village which is under the control of ISIS.

However, a battlefield reported said that the offensive in Ramadi’s eastern countryside will lead the Iraqi Army to Fallujah’s western district where they will likely face a hard battle against ISIS in the coming months.
