Iraq will be a graveyard for Saudi forces: IPMU

On Saturday, Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Unit’s (IPMU)  spokesman Ahmad Al-Assadi has warned Saudi Arabia against any ground aggression into Iraq.

“We will turn Iraq into a “graveyard” for Saudi forces if they dare attack the country,” Ahmad al-Assadi said.

Earlier, Saudi Arabia and its allies announced that they wanted to conduct a joint military maneuver in the kingdom’s north, close to Iraqi border.

According to several Saudi media, a force of 350,000 soldiers from the Persian Gulf Arab states and a number of other countries, including Egypt, Sudan and Pakistan, would take part in the Saudi-led military exercise named “North Thunder” in the area of Hafer al-Batin which is close to the Iraqi border.

It was also reported that some 2,540 warplanes, 20,000 tanks and 460 helicopters will be participating in the largest drill of the region.

I do not believe 350000 combat ready troops of any arab country.
exacerbated by 99%, max 5.000…..
Arabs will never master the logistics of a stationary army, what about maneuvering army , marching a distance of 2500km.
BS, what they say.
They can bomb Yemen from the sky, but they lose on the ground.
Idiots.

Nexusfast123

They only get away with bombing as the air defences are weak. If they had to fight a competent air-force they would be shot out of the sky.

Nexusfast123

20,000 tanks…really. Even if you added all types of armoured vehicles together you would struggle to get anywhere that number.

Dagwood Bumstead

Agreed, even 10% of that would be a huge armoured military.

zencowboy61

only russia has that many tanks..and thats including the t 72 in storage……

LiberalsRLost

maybe the zeros got added in translation?
10% would be closer to the truth…..the Command & Control of amassing a 350k force is not something that they are trained nor proven to be capable of performing…..nor keep it secret in the age of tweets, taunts and selfies…..more like Psy-Ops and fear porn to see if anyone blinks….

I suspect its a ruse to get the SAA to redeploy units from the Aleppo front they are about to win and perhaps draw forces away from a possible Turkish incursion.
I agree there’s nowhere near that number of tanks or troops available to the Saudis, all theRussians would have to do is fly in a couple more S-300/400 systems to cover the southern front and 20 or so MLRS systems loaded with rockets full of anti-tank bomblets to obliterate any potential Saudi/Gulf State incursion, so even if it did occur the Armoured vanguard would quickly be annihilated and the rest of the force would eat itself to survive while fleeing back into the desert.

yes s400 could knock out Turkish planes inside turkey if putin ordered it.

With “tanks” the author probably includes all armoured vehicles.

Kuwait and Bahrain armed forces are about the size of Qatar, and Oman has 72,000.

Obviously the author is incuding Jordan, Turkey (230 F-16’s), EGYPT, maybe Morocco and other Sunni states, and definately US, UK, OZ, German, and other Shaitanic Alien Alliance partners.

I wonder if this formidable “force” ever dare to attack the zionist state…it seems they are brave only against other arab states, maybe “weak” ones for them but watch as the yemeni army make the saudis bit the ground

Good for everybody if Saudi forces invade. 1) Fanatic Muslim forces will kill each other 2) World terrorism down by 90% as Saudi may go broke 3) Oil prices will remain low as war losses need to be recovered 4) West’s Defence Industry will prosper……Good! Human life anyway has no value for Muslims.
