Iraqi Government plans to build a new oil pipeline from Kirkuk to Ceyhan. The pipeline will be 350 km long and will transit 1 million barrels per day, according to Iraq’s Ministry of Oil.
The decision is linked to the fact that the oil pipeline previously used to transport oil to the Turkish port of Ceyhan had been repeatedly attacked by ISIS since the terrorists captured Mosul in 2014. It is currently beyond repair, according to officials.
The new oil pipeline will assist the Iraqi Government in asserting control over the oil deposits in Kirkuk, after they extruded the forces of the Kurdistan Regional Government out of the region on October 16.
The pipeline will begin construction in Saladin Governorate. It will go through Kirkuk and Mosul, Faysh Khabur and then will reach Turkey.
Kirkuk province houses five oil deposits, two of which were under control of Erbil for almost three years and produced more than 300,000 barrels of oil per day up until October 16. Iraqi state North Oil Company controlled the other three, producing more than 150,000 barrels per day.
Iraq’s Minister of Oil Jabbar al-Luaibi said on October 17 that the government plans to increase the amount of oil produced from these deposits to one million per day thanks to foreign investments.
Best way to keep Turkey on your side, enable them to make money working together with you. That’s why US influence in the region will only grow smaller and smaller. The US competes on the international oil market as an exporter now and has nothing to sell the people there except for overpriced weapons.
The US F35 is a bargain Rodger. Every despotic regime should have some, rather like Herpes. :)
I reckon so. That way at least we know they cannot invade their neighbors with the flying lemon. Removing at least that argument for US regime change.
The shiit takes all system replacing Saddam taking all…
Never understood why a country that have oil and gas will sell these ressources.
Because all to many nations in the Middle East have little else to sell perhaps Serious ?
Maybe they can use oil and gas to create what they need instead of fighting each others like cowards.
They even can’t make a simple gun.
they still would be in the stoneage there if not for the oil. I mean they do still live like that in there mentality but without cars, phones, technology.
You don’t need to sell oil to create an economy.
Thats right. I read it all the time here and also at live-update-syria.
You all incl. Your females to make a sekualar economy based on something else. But You can only do that by educating all and dont dealy by culturre and religions, as most people insist.
I have followed Syria after the no rain in about 2008. There are not even real investments in modern agriculture in irrigation and less water evaporation. There is none in using better growing systems incl new plants, bushes and trees. There are the same small farms exept from the areas, where the dams have given water. There is no realiable system for some export even You have buyers outside Syria from Europe to China and japan. No trucks with cooling and freezing productions.
And Syria could make the prices mush lower for wool from sheep and goats as well as cotton by semi-machanizing and make some jobs there(again). Seemes almost like only poor kurds make some, because they have a low economy and nothings else more usefull to do.
And thats a sektor, which Syrians should be experts in. Syria do make a lot of good food but mainly in the old fashioned way.
The jew instigated nearly all the wars of the past 100 years. It is jew business. Mel Gibson was telling the truth.
All countries have their livings and sell, what they can. I cant see the difference.
Why is Russia selling oil and gas to Europe ? Just cut off oil and gas and Europe economy will be go down brutally.
Don’t understand.
Europe has plenty of coal. And renewable energy like wind and solar is now coming the same price range, the higher the oil and gas price the faster it will go. New solar energy sources are already cheaper than new coal energy sources in Australia (big coal exporter to China). Cut off the oil and gas and pretty soon nobody wants your oil and gas. Wait a bit longer still and getting the oil and gas out will be more expensive than leaving it in.
Solar energy in Europe ? XD. Coal pollute a lot.
Wind energy is too weak and unreliable.
Nothing can replace efficially oil and gas.
If nobody want oil and gas, who cares ? I use it to create competitive products.
Yeah, The Alps, Southern/Middle France, Southern Italy, Spain and Portugal have huge potential for solar. And even up in the North it will be viable. You probably confuse temperature with solar energy but even in gloomy England the solar energy reaching the ground is still 50% of that in the Sahara. 1 wind farm is nothing, a 100 is nothing but build enough of them and they add up. And to create you need investments and buyers, those won’t come from countries you sanction.
BTW coal doesn’t pollute CO2 is plant food (why it’s transported for the energy plants to green houses here in the Netherlands). The SOx is filtered out of the smoke and used by the industry.
That’s just bullshit. Will you power Europe with sun in Spain ?? XD.
It’s expensive, not powerful, not reliable, not ready to use. You have to create f…. big batteries (that are very hard to make and are not reliable) to store the energy.
Coal is f… polluting. There are heavy metals in coal and other nasty things. I just wanna see Europe full of coal factiries just to laugh. XD.
The one who sell oil and gaz is just stupid.
Nah, you can just make hydrogen gas which you pump through pipes.
https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2017-06-15/solar-power-will-kill-coal-sooner-than-you-think
Will evolve in 2040 !!!! XD.
Cut off oil and gas in Europe and all you will see in a f…. RECESSION and economic crisis.
Of course, if you wait until 6564, it will not work. XD.
Nope you will see a huge increase in investments in renewables and coal because of the higher prices. Making those a lot cheaper a lot faster because of economies of scale. You will see governmental regulations concerning the environment for new projects evaporating like snow in the sauna. After that you’ll see export of the newly perfected technologies to Asia and Africa to deliver the deathblow to fossil fuels. Saudi Arabia knows this and that’s why they want to sell off (a 5%) part of their oil reserves now. Oil and gas prices can’t climb without making them redundant sooner.
Man, that’s just bullshit. The first thing you will is a f…. economic crisis during 10 or 20 years if not more. Enough time to weaken Europe.
They don’t have the tech yet. And it will be expensive.
But, the one you have the oil and gas can make research on renewable energy and have the energy to run factories during the transition and be competitive.
The tech is pretty old and wind turbines farms are put all over the place already and the first solar farms are also already being build. Solar is nothing more than some convex mirrors pointed at a tube (isolated from the wind) in which you heat something (I think they use salt atm) that boils water and drives a turbine. Hydrogen creation is just passing electricity through salty water. H20 –> H2 + 1/2 O2
Europe could probably make the total switch in 5 years or less if it really needed to and went into energywartimeproductionmode. It would probably result in an economic boom time because of the huge local investments (drawn from other places).
It’s totally false.
You need a lot a lot alot of wind turbines. Where will put all these wind turbines ? They make noise, they are not reliable, you have to put them where there is wind, they take place. Who wanna a wind turbine near his house ???
Solar farms need a lot a lot a lot of place and don’t wrong at night when you need them the most. So, you need large large batteries.
Nope, you don’t need large batteries. These are not your roof panels. These are set ups that generate heat. The heat is put in the ground and when they need energy they make steam with that heat. The wind turbines are put in the North Sea which is shallow and windy and they create a great place for fish to live.
Already Enough Fotos where made of smoki full of coal London 18hundret emm something or was it 19hundret, peiople couldnt see shit 3 meters infront of them, so many people where sick, then the autority said it is banned.
Yup, and then in the 80’s we started to filter the smoke from power plants and other industry.
Thats right. same problems see in China and India today. So all try to reduce coal and dirty oil having fx sulphur making acid HSO4 as well taken parabols, and cars too.
Why dont You look it up. Your versions of windturbines as well as solarpower is totally outdated.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wind_power_in_Denmark
The pic is from outside Copenhagen and are very small old ones. https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/925c2e3df7fc81507f3d3a6d6531b40da5e2e5a5b4beee57f5231ea8bd3b905c.jpg
You expect us to sit drinking tea. My own advice to You would be to copy at least our best parts, You need very much. Relying something by Russia is very optimistic.
As I see Russia today, it might collapse again by that itself.
Thats right. First higher prices and next invensions making improvements.
It sometimes is a strange world. Our sea and air was very polluted. Not many fish, our few eagles died, and svimming could get You infections.
Our Goverment told the companies, that they had to move or clean up for themselves.
The strange thing happend, that the big polluters made all kinds of cleaning systems and we now as a country export for billions and billions of cleaning systems as well for more effective use.
So we also demand and that presure make results for the whole world. We are not alone in this.
Yup, same thing here in the Netherlands. Governing people is pretty hard but governing companies is very easy. And a good thing it happened too. Can you imagine how powerful the Global Warming crew would have been if acid rain was still around? Luckily they can only whine about plant food these days to introduce their global taxing system on being productive.
You do forget, we actually has some oil and gas ourselves and we can buy from others then east of us even the transport is expensive and even we have to clean it very much as well.
There are problems about it. Its thin in energy and even You compress it hard, its not usefull for cars. Cars and transport are very big user.
But You can keep it cooled down there and then its ok. But do the electricity to the coolor/frezer go away, the storage will explode.
I give it chances, where it can go direct into heating for towns.
Hydrogen isn’t nearly as dangerous as people claim. In the Netherlands we have had public transport buses driving on the stuff (with fuel cells) since 2003. In 2030 all public transport buses have to run on it. https://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brandstofcelbus (with Danish you should be able to read it. :P)
And with coal or CO2 hydrogen is easily and efficiently made into methane or ethane.
But the best image of the future I’ve seen is a fuel celled car on hydrogen that also powers the house when your at home (and tanks up on hydrogen for the next day of driving). Batteries or a much smaller fuel cell for when you’re out. The only exhaust is water and there is no (or hardly any) energy lost transporting hydrogen (or methane) through pipes. But this will take another 30 years I guess. It’s possible now but just too expensive to compete.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fuel_cell_vehicle
There is no stopping it. And that’s all for the better.
Again, You are not updated at all but can in constructions, reliability as well as the fallen prices.
Almost none is invested in the old ways even they are made some % more effective and systems used for warming up houses in the wintertime as well as cooling them down in the summer are installed.
So You cant take out oil, gas and coal, but its not abowe symbolic improvements.
Spain already has good windmills producing a lot of electricity, but some areas has not much wind. So of course that source is for windy areas, where GB and many coaslines are the best ones.
Half of them in Denmark are at sea. They are the most productive ones.
You need an update about very much, and we do replace oil and gas very much by a lot of initiatives by EU planes.
200 days of the year Denmark make electricity for themselves as well as exporting it. When the wind dont blow we have money from it to keep the use of coal, gas and oil lower. Its a succes and 2 new big windmill parks are ready to be madee. Those are mainly for export to Sweden and Germany because we have wind here so many days a Year.
Solar cells will be more here too. Today its on 1%, but the prices of the solarcells has been reduced vertically, som they are a good option now.
The storing og electricity has been improved some. Some plans say, that every powerplant can be storing, and therefore windmills can be usefull much more then 200 days a year. same thing for solar electricity, which only is produced in light hours.
And we do have reduced our coal powerplants from 4 to 2 even we use a little more electricity and heating every year.
Cars by batteries are only for local use yes, but today the small ones can be used up to 300 km.
Because then Russia would have no income? You can’t eat oil or gas.
That’s the inherit dilemma. Russia has the power to put Europe in the cold dark. But if it does so it will finally force the Europeans to seek alternative sources of energy. In which they no longer need Russian oil or gas. In which case Russia would end up the biggest loser.
The ideal situation for Russia would be to keep Europe dependent on its oil and gas indefinitely.
Obviously, it’s the dead way.
The better way is to put Europe in dark and to reorganize Russia to be stronger economically and to create tech for future.
But you need money for that. Again, best of both worlds has Europe dependent on Russian oil and gas, while Russia uses that income to become stronger and more diverse economically. Put Europe in the dark and Russia would not only have a harder time making that transition, without having to play nice to Russia for oil and gas Europe would probably become even more antagonistic. After all, Russia put it in the dark. That’s bound to create bad feelings. And chances are it would drive the Europeans even more in the American camp. Calling for more US troops and bases along Russia’s borders.
Europeans are quite lazy these days. They would rather be dependent on the US for its defense and on Russia for reliable energy then invest in both themselves. And there may have been some sanctions after the Crimea incident, but overall most European countries still prefer not to rock the boat with Russia too much, as they quite like its gas and oil.
You don’t need money. You need smart people, organizations, goals and energy.
You always need money. Even the Norks try to make money to fund their missile hobby. Why do you think they sold that technology to Iran? Why do you think the USSR and now Russia sells energy to the West? Funny money that you print and arbitrarily assign a value (except the petrol dollar) is worth nothing. The Soviet Rubble was worth nothing, Nork currency is worth nothing. Stuff costs real money, people cost real money, organizing things costs real money, paying state pensions to pensioners costs real money. That’s why the Yeltsin years were seen as such a disaster for Russia, people weren’t getting paid and pensioners weren’t getting money. That’s why Putin made damn sure to correct this.
Again, Russia currently needs that money and an Europe that is energy dependent on Russia is in Russia’s long term interest. Countries that need you are less likely to impose real sanctions on you and go to war with you. And considering that Russia is doing quite a lot to create tension between Europe and the US I’d say that Putin thinks more along my line then yours. He wants Europe to be energy dependent on Russia, not independent.
Both. But You are right, its about structures with the right people and incitaments.
We are not lazy. If the danger from mainly Russia is very low, we dont need some big defence.
Our defencebudgets will raise 1-2 % but because USA has moved almost all troops away from US. US has – in estimates – since USSR collapsed moved away 300.000 soldiers and into 30.000. Today they have taken som new troops to secure from the agressivity from Putin. Here they are up to 50.000 and being more advanced ones. Its tanks and like that.
You are right about the sanctions. Hard to see they really work, but they make people from “west” invest less and in stead invest in eastern Europe.
Fine. But they seemes not to have skills for improving vital things even they have a lot to do it with.
The Russian BNP(GDP) is like Spain, but of course things are cheep there.
Some tiny economy like the russian one cant make EU in any dark, hardly some shadows here and there.
How can You come with shit like that being just a non fact checker ?
EU incl. UK has a BNP semilar to USA. A few Years ago it was even bigger then USA.
Russia would collapse right away.
You might look at the Russian ex- and import and see, what makes it – and which dont.
First i hear this existing pipeline is beyond repair.how long has this been?since isis took over mosul?
It might also be a question of who owns the old pipeline. Let’s say that the US owned 50% of it and should get 15% of every barrel pumped through it. Then it might be wise to just declare it unrepairable and build a new pipeline.
Good point but us owns iraq. the gov is a puppet gov and us still pulls strings there. Why would they allow this?
If company X owns part of the old one and company Y will own (a smaller) part of the new one ‘the US’ would be fine with the deal if the people in positions to decide like company Y better. Maybe company X supported Hillary or something. It wouldn’t be the actual US owning part of the pipeline.
Ok.
USA dont own Iraq at all. You seemes to know almost nothing about ownership in Your own countries and in the rest of the world.
You are still in Muhammed Economics 1400 years ago and even insist in not understand putting our world into zionist and jews.
You cant even see that most oilmoney are not made on crude oil for cars and heating. The money is the advanced small parts in Your computer or android and seemes not even able to produce simple plastic buckets.
Thats where the gab is. And You do nothing to change that at all.
I would suggest my knowledge of geography is superior to your own.
Thats right. Your comming with USA here there and everywhere should be replaced by many others. Others get it, when USA companies and not USA get it.
And let me remind You that we are many stockholders in the world, which has parts of fx oil production. Fx my pensionfond has parts of many kinds of productions incl. oil, windmills and solar electricity. We also have stocks in tankers for oil.
So a company based in fx USA are also owned by many countries. Even people from Iraq and Syria can buy them every day.
Not because its danish, but one of our biggest companies are Maersk Line being the biggest transporters of fx palm oil in the world … How danish is it. But I have stocking in it a few ones.
https://www.maerskline.com/
You probatly automaticly think companies are all private owned or owned by that states because You are from a place, where 80% are. We only have private companies for 20%. 80% also work for others ny school, ecucation, skills and hard work and are paid pr hour. That make us effective.
Yup, in uncertain times it’s best to diversify. And ownerships of companies is now such a spaghetti that I doubt anyone has a clear picture of who owns what.
So you are the ones chopping down the Indonesian jungle to make money from your stinking palm oil! Fake progressive!
There are one small working well runned by the Kurd Autonome. I think – think – that this is the one under repair.
I cant remember the much bigger should be started yet. I am not 100% sure.
I don’t know about this decision, I still don’t trust Erdogan
Erdogan was burned twice by the Washington-London-Hell Aviv Axis of Evil. First with the staged revolution in Turkey, second with the Kurdish referendum in Iraq and the Kurds occupying part of Assad’s Syria in a greater goal of a Kurdistan taking land from Turkey, Syria, Iraq and Iran. All supported by the zionist West. Erdogan hates jewish freemasonry, jewish communism, and jewish zionism – from Erdogan’s young man years. Which is why the jew hates Erdogan, because Erdogan comprehends the jew world order game.
Strange, I bought he was a Jew himself
We will see. The projekt should be almost ready for doing it.
