Kurdish Pesherga units have seized 7 settlements, including Muftia, Tal Aswad since the start of the operation East to Mosul on May 29. The goal of the operation is to put pressure on the ISIS force in Mosul while Iraq’s army and volunteeers advance on Fallujah.
