Iraq: ISIS Commander Neutralized in Fallujah

In a precision strike carried out by Mi-28 and Bell helicopters, the deputy to ISIS’s Fallujah governor along with tens of his aides were killed as they dined in a restaurant in central Fallujah.

Meanwhile, on Wednesday Ayatollah Al-Sistani, Iraq’s top religious cleric urged the loyalist forces participating in the offensive to take excess care of the civilian element of Fallujah city as hundreds of families are desperately trapped in this war torn city.

Another high ranking terrorist hat goes by the name Qasim Akkab was killed by sniper fire in the nearby city of Al Karmah. The city has been liberated since.

Clashes are expected to intensify as the Iraqi forces look to finally seize the long standing ISIS stronghold of Fallujah.
