Iranian-Made Anti-Tank Missile Spotted With GNA Forces In Libya

On November 16, Oded Berkowitz, an intelligence analyst, share an photo showing an Iranian-made Dehlavie anti-tank guided missile (ATGM) with a unit loyal to the Libyan Government of National Accord (GNA).

The unit, the Anti-Armour Company, is known to be involved in the ongoing battle against the Libyan National Army (LNA).

The Dehlavie ATGM is a likened copy of the Russian-designed 9M133 Kornet. The missile has a range of more than 5 km and can penetrate 1,000–1,200 mm of rolled homogeneous armour (RHA) after explosive-reactive armour (ERA).

Just like the Russian Kornet, Dehlavie is guided by laser beam riding, which makes it highly accurate and immune to known jamming methods.

Oded suggested that Iran may have shipped Dehlavie missiles to GNA forces aboard an Iranian container ship that left from Bulgaria and docked at the Libyan port of Misrata last April. This is yet to be verified.

Iran may be arming GNA forces to counter the growing influence of the UAE, which is reportedly backing the LNA’s attack on the Libyan capital, Tripoli.

Assad must stay (gr8rambino)

i thought GNA was the bad guys? shithadists mostly?

Free man

Is this something new that the mullahs support jihadists?
What do you think are Hamas, Islamic Jihad and Hezbollah?

FilastinHuratan

Resistance/protection/liberation organisations that stand up against the ziofascist garbage dump.

Free man

Has Hamas not helped Al Qaeda and the other Sunni jihadists against the SAA?

FilastinHuratan

Has the OUTLAW, psychopath-run, blackmailing, sanctioning, belligerent, rogue empire-in-decline not created al-Qa’ida and ISIS, isn’t that same empire in decline not using al-Qa’ida, the organisation that did 9/11, and a myriad of other imported terrorist organisations as its boots on the ground?

Free man

It was a simple question. Has Hamas not helped to kill Syrian soldiers?
another question. Is Hamas funded by the Iranian people’s money not currently cooperating with Netanyahu?

FilastinHuratan

Your 1st question: I have not seen any reports about that. if there are, please point me to them. If you don’t I’ll assume it’s nonsense.

Your 2nd question: what cooperation are you talking about? If you give me facts please point me to some sources, otherwise the conclusion of question 1 applies.

Free man

You know for a fact that the US created Al Qaeda and ISIS and that the US organized 11/9.
But you don’t know that at the beginning of the war Hamas supported the jihadists and that Hamab left Damascus.
And you also don’t know that Hamas is negotiating with Israel over a cease-fire in Gaza and that Netanyahu is allowing Qatar to give Hamas money.

FilastinHuratan

No, I don’t know that at the beginning of the war Hamas supported the jihadists and that Hamas left Damascus. And obviously you are making it up because you have not provided any source material, so you have now confirmed your statement is nonsense.

Negotiating a cease-fire is NOT the same as cooperating with Netanyahu.

And last time I checked Netanyahu is not the Finance Minister of Qatar, nor is he the Emir of Qatar, so he does NOT decide for what causes Qatar can spend its money, so his “approval” for Hamas is another load of male bovine manure.

I humbly suggest you go peddle that male bovine manure and your hasbara nonsense to someone else.

Free man

If you have access to Google in Iran, check:
Reuters: Hamas ditches Assad, backs Syrian revolt
Middle East Eye: How did Hamas’s military expertise end up with Syria’s rebels?
But I think you know the truth, but you recite the propaganda of your regime.
You should check if you are infected with coronavirus (Do not believe your regime on this issue) .

FilastinHuratan

That’s not providing a source: where are the URLs?
As for the rest of your nonsense, there really is no need to reconfirm that you are spewing it.

Free man

“As for the rest of your nonsense…” – No need to be angry. I only worry about your health (-;

FilastinHuratan

BTW, I also asked a simple question, to which you have not provided an answer.

FilastinHuratan

Wrong, GNA is recognised by the UN, which by default makes the LNA the bad guys. Pretty simple.

Assad must stay

i dont think so pal

FilastinHuratan

I don’t care what you think, pal, I have just stated a fact. Period.

Free man

Iran loves to support Jihadists, they do it best in the ME. I find it amusing that the Russians support the LNA and the Iranians support the GNA, but what can I say? goodluck to both sides!

FilastinHuratan

What can you say? Shutting up, instead of asinine comments, is always most elegant ;-)

Free man

Instead of destabilizing the Middle East and sending their weapons to every war in the region, the mullahs should look after the welfare of its citizens.

Boxman

Awkward, if true. Russia supports LNA, the GNA are their enemies.

Ronald

If true indeed.
Many weapon sales go through 3rd parties, possession does not necessarily mean support.
Cannot imagine Shia Iran backing the Sunni Muslim Brotherhood in the GNA.
Turkey does however,, maybe they copied the Iranian model.
