Iran To Make One Last Offer For U.S.

President Donald Trump told Reuters on April 25 that Iran plans to make an offer aimed at resolving United States demands.

“They’re making an offer and we’ll have to see,” Trump said during a phone interview.

His comments come as an Iranian delegation led by Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi arrived in the Pakistani capital, Islamabad.

Araghchi was received by Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Asim Munir and other senior officials upon arrival.

In a statement, Pakistan’s foreign ministry said that during the visit Araghchi is expected to meet the country’s senior leadership to discuss the latest regional developments and ongoing efforts to promote regional peace and stability. No further details were provided.

Separately, White House spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt told reporters that the U.S. has “certainly seen some progress from the Iranian side” in recent days and hopes more will be made in weekend talks.

Leavitt reiterates that U.S. Vice President JD Vance is willing to go to Pakistan “if we feel it’s a necessary use of his time.” She also said that Trump has already decided to send his envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner “to hear the Iranians out.”

“The Iranians want to talk. They want to talk in person,” Leavitt said, stressing Trump is “always willing to give diplomacy a chance.”

Responding to Leavitt, Iran’s semi-officials Tasnim News Agency reported that “Iran has made no request for talks with the Americans and, on the contrary, has so far completely rejected U.S. requests for negotiations due to their excessive demands.”

Still, some sort of indirect talks between the Iranian delegation led by Araghchi and Trump’s envoys could take place in Islamabad.

The ongoing diplomatic push by Pakistan may very well be the last chance to broker an agreement between the U.S. and Iran.

The U.S. military, which currently has three carrier strike groups in the Middle East, is reported to be developing new battle plans to target Iran’s capabilities in the Strait of Hormuz.

it is what the true carpetbagger trump always does, make sound bites to make the oil market drop, places some investments, then on monday, he’ll tell us how violent he will be in overthrowing the “mullahs”, all so he can invest in shorting oil. he’s been doing every weekend for weeks.
