According to Teheran, Saudi warplanes targeted the Iranian embassy’s building in the Yemeni capital Sana’a on Jan.6. The Saudi raid seriously wounded one of the security guards at the scene

Iran’s foreign ministry spokesman, Hossein Jaber Ansari, described this fact as a ‘deliberate action’ and a ‘violation of all international conventions that protect diplomatic missions’.

“The Saudi government is responsible for the damage caused and for the situation of members of staff who were injured.” he said

Iran is set to submit a report to the United Nations over the Saudi air raid on Tehran’s diplomatic mission.

“In the coming hours, we are set to inform the United Nations on the details of this issue in an official report,” Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab and African Affairs Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said.
