The so-called arbitration committee formed by the Turkish-backed factions of Azm operations room announced a new resolution concerning Sultan Suleyman Shah leader, Mohammad al-Jasem, also known as Abu-Amsheh.

The new resolution exiles Abu-Amsheh and his two brothers Waleed and Malek from Afrin for two years in addition to the exile of the leaders, Amer Azab al-Mohammad, Hassan Khaled al-Sattouf, and Ahmad Khouja from the region and compelling the faction to pay 5 thousand dollars to a person called Abdulrahman Yaseen and fining al-Mohammad 15 thousand dollars to be paid to a person called Ahmad Ali al-Fares.

It was noteworthy that the five detained leaders at Azm, according to the resolution, were released although the resolution confirms the leaders’ involvement in the violations and crimes in Ash Sheikh Hadid in Afrin countryside Northern Aleppo, the area which is considered the main stronghold of the faction.

A well-informed source reported that the decision came in an attempt from Azm to save face in front of the public opinion after being unable to execute its previous resolution which says of dismissing Abu-Amsheh and his leaders from the faction leadership.

The source added that the Turkish pressure went on supporting and protecting Abu-Amsheh from any attempt by Azm to prosecute him and advertising itself to the public as being the governing-power which organizes north Aleppo countryside.

The source pointed out that the new resolution that Azm considers and propagates as a proof of its strength came in favor of Abu-Amsheh where the five leaders were released as well as it acquits him, if he abides to it, in addition to being restricted to expelling him out of Afrin for 2 years. That is, he is free to move along with his headquarters to other areas like Azaz, al-Bab, Jarabulus, and others.

The source also pointed to that the so-called arbitration committee’s punishment resolution against Abu-Amsheh and his faction violations, that amounted to killing civilians, was restricted to expelling him temporarily, which obviously stresses the role of the Turkish pressure protecting Abu-Amsheh and the inability of Azm to execute its resolution concerning punishing him.

The source previously mentioned that recently a meeting had been held by leaders from Azm with the participation of some Turkish intelligence officers in Kilis during which strict Turkish instructions not to harm Abu-Amsheh and not to implement the dismissal resolution.
