In Video: Ukrainian Mi-8 Shot Down In Kherson Region

 

On the evening of November 30, Russian unofficial military sources shared video of fire in the village of Tyaginka located on the western bank of the Dnieper river. According to the reports from the front, Ukrainian Mi-8 helicopter was shot down by Russian air defense forces and fell on the houses in the village. 

The date of the incident was not revealed. It is possible that the helicopter was shot down a week ago. On November 23, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that Ukrainian Mi-8 was shot down in the same area. Russian daily report is yet to confirm if this was the second Ukrainian helicopter destroyed over the same village in one week.

Despite Russian dominance in the air in the southern Kherson region, the Ukrainian Air Forces continues risky operations in the area, where Ukrainian helicopters are firing unguided missiles on the area of the ongoing battles for the village of Krynki.
