RussiaToday shared an exclusive video from the frontlines provided by the comments of a brave Russian UAV operator. The Russian serviceman told the reporters that he had managed to destroy Ukrainian tank when he was searching for his lost UAV.
Russian serviceman with the call sign Granite said that his drone was intercepted by the Ukrainian electronic warfare system during a combat mission. Wasting no time, Granite went on a search and found his fallen UAV near the enemy positions, where he also noticed Ukrainian tank. The Russian servicemen went back to the Russian position and took a grenade launcher. He returned to the enemy stronghold and destroyed the tank with two strikes. One of them struck under the turret, the second hit in the side next to the engine. The tank burned down. There was no crew inside.
Granite explained that before becoming the drone operator he served in assault unit.
