On May 9th, the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) shared a video of a drone attack on a post of the Turkish military in the province of Dohuk in the Iraqi Kurdistan Region.

The attack that took place on April 29th was carried out with a commercially-bought hexacopter drone. In the video, the drone can be seen dropping three projectiles, HEAT [High-Explosive Anti-Tank] warheads taken from RPG-7 rounds, on the Turkish post, which is located near the town of Kani Masi.

During the attack, Turkish soldiers reportedly targeted the PKK’s drone with machine guns. However, they were not able to score a hit.

The Turkish military launched the joint Claw-Lightning and Claw-Thunderbolt operations against PKK cells in Kurdistan on April 23th.

The joint operation is still ongoing in the areas of Metina, Zap and Avashin-Basyan. According to the Turkish Ministry of National Defense, 72 PKK fighters have been neutralized, so far. From its side, the Turkish military lost seven soldiers in attacks by the PKK.

Turkish military pressure has forced the PKK and its affiliates in Syria to adopt several new offensive means, including drone attacks. The Kurdish guerrilla group has been launching drone attacks on Turkish forces for a few years now.

Missed like crazy they killed the roadway best they drop some covid bats on’em

Wolfetone

It doesn’t matter if they missed, It’s the phycological impact that they have inflicted on those Turkish troops. In Ireland, it’s wasn’t the killing that messed up the Brits but their bombing campaign and the ‘hit and run’ shooting tactics.
