In 2014, Ukrainian radical nationalists, backed up by the EU and the US, seized power in Kiev overthrowing the legitimate president of the country, Viktor Yanukovych. The installation of new government sparked protests in the country's southeast. Since April 2014, pro-Russian separatists have been battling pro-Kiev forces in eastern Ukraine. In March 2014, a vast majority of people in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea voted for "reunification with Russia" and the region became a part of the Russian Federation.
Putin if you read this threat which I sincerely doubt, I wrote this from the beginning; you need to take everything east of the Dnepr including Kiev, where you been already, only if you do this you will end the war victoriously and cause the demise of US/NATO!!! I wish you good luck doing so!
IT is now nessacry for Russia to tak all of east of the river destroy all bridge from kiev to kherson river.
Why would Russia want to take Ukrainian territory with ethnic Ukrainians who hate Russians?; such a scenario does not make any sense, and Russia could care less about West Ukrainians and has no desire to be confronted with an endless NATO-fuelled guerilla war in the West.
Yeah, let them to adhere to EU by becoming Poolanders as they were less than 100 years ago. 😁
They should still take out all the bridges on the dniper to stop movements of military armaments and troops those already on the other side will be trapped like the Russian issue in Kherson on the right bank
And what if Russia needs those bridges later for a fast attack to the west? Everyone keeps telling the Russians how to run this operation. Mostly saying they should fight like NATO, destroy everything. How do the people in countries where the US leveled every last building feel about the US? Why would Russia generate those same feelings in a country they will exist next to? How would the west use these tactics against Russia in the media? Russia is fighting with one hand behind their back for reasons they have already explained…and they are still successful. They also save armaments and Russian soldiers lives this way…not to mention civilians. Yes, they have made some mistakes, but mistakes are made in war. Get over it. Brian Berletic (the New Atlas) has a very good video explaining how keeping these bridges is of strategic value. If the Russians were losing, then criticism might be warranted from armchair generals. But they are not, they are able to preserve their best weaponry just in case NATO gets stupid and keeping their casualties low generates higher morale. US soldiers suffer PTSD from actions they were ordered to take, only later to realize what they were forced to do against innocent people was criminal. Do Russian soldiers need to suffer the same fate? No.
I also watched his view and he was pretty right. War of Attrition involves a lot of factors and one of them is a logistic nightmare. It involves long routes, huge fuel consumption and fatigue. You beat your enemy by exhausting them with any mean including these factors
East donbass people don’t want to be a part of Ukraine as their government that was USA imposed keeps bombing and killing them since 2014
Why would they want to be ruled by someone who is actively trying to kill them
Thanks a million. You have just solved my biggest problem.
Everyone was accusing V Putin of being crazy/having gigantic steel balls for invading the East of the Ukraine, and now the same ones are calling him a wimp for not going all out ; I think that this man can remain calm within the realm of the unimaginable responsibility which befalls him is testimony enough to the strength of his character.
no.
that would cause some hundret thousand russians dead and prolong the war and its costs a lot.
and also theres no need for that.
odessa must be liberated and linked with transnistria.
donezk frontline musst be pushed westwards around 100km and dnipro and charkiv captured.
thats enough for novorussia.
and all western of that should be bombed to stone age, so that there will be never again any threat against russia from ukraine soil.
sounds like a good plan
Putin here. I read all comments on South Front News. We cant take Kiev as this will jeopardize our relationship with our dear partners. Remember we are also Europeans as you are, we are the same.
As I said yesterday, Russian forces are retreating from the East side of the Dnepr since they are constantly being hunted down like rabbits by HIMARS
Even pro-Ukrainian Balkan Mapping on youtube is showing a ring of fire of 30 to 100 rockets in Ukrainian territory, compared to one to five hitting in Russian territory.
Every. Single. Day.
Are you a fading comedian with a fading septum?
They did a lot of retreating in 1812 and 1941 and won both wars in the end: so what’s your point?
what point?
there is no and never will be any point from them.
because these hasbara and nato hurenkinder and trolls are only here for trolling, spamming, disturbing and provocating.
lol you moron,
even western military experts claim losses due killings and woundings ratios of ukro-rus about 5:1 up to 10:1.
what do you think how long it will take till nothing will be left of the so called ukro army?
i put my bet on around next summer-autum.
Please give me your sources. And please nothing from zeroegde, antiwar or similar misinformation sites.
And now the kherson region has become a graveyard for ukrainian men and material…
They got slaughtered in there…
Correction: they GET slaughtered there.

Nice, smooth reatreath. So we won?
Not yet, we still dont have Crimea back, we still dont have Donbass back. we still don’t have most of Zapo and yes, believe or not WE STILL DONT HAVE MOST OF THE KHERSON REGION.
A proof US defeated Russia and can win wars.
lol you moron.
go and read again in a good military book what a tactical retreat means.
anyway, we will see next spring-summer, who will win what.
The Nazis of 81-st Airmobile Brigade of the AFU that operate in Belogorovka (Lugansk People’s Republic) refused to subordinate to the command and to fulfill combat tasks due to large casualties and low morale. The Right Sektor militants sent to Belogorovka from one of the Einsatzgruppen executed 5 Ukrainian servicemen by shooting in the head to impose order and to intimidate the Brigade’s personnel.
Odessa will be liberated soon?
