On June 11, the Libyan National Army (LNA) released a video of artillery strikes on forces loyal to the Government of National Accord (GNA).
The video, which was apparently filmed by a drone, shows the army artillery striking gatherings and vehicles of GNA forces south of the Libyan capital, Tripoli.
“The video clarifies the accuracy of the targets that the military units of our armed forces are dealing with, it also shows the withdrawal of the coward enemy,” the LNA’s media office said in a press release.
The LNA resumed its advance towards Tripoli last week. However, it has failed to capture any key areas south of the capital, so far.
The GNA’s recent success in defending its remaining positions around the capital is likely the result of the increasing Qatari and Turkish support. Last week, Libyan sources revealed that Ankara is operating unmanned combat aerial vehicles (UAVs) against the LNA.
and where is the video?
